Hi,

because this pandemic is spreading across the world and most of the countries are entering a lock down, it would be nice for Wargaming to give every player premium time for like 2 or 3 months for all players, it's just virtual time, it would not cost anything to the company ( some minor loss of revenue maybe for people that would actually buy premium time, maybe) and it would be a nice measure so that we could play the game a bit happier and ride this one out.

stay safe fellow tankers and hopefully this pandemic will blow away soon.

BR

Eric

I agree, but chances are slim to none that they will give free premium time for this period. They could at least give 50% discount on premium account.

Are you actually serious? I don't know what kind of stuff you are taking, but take a little less.

Corona already cost 10M for WG ... so  :)

but Corona Marathon or Corona Campaign .. could be useful

Marathon for CDC ( Centers for Discease Control) :teethhappy: Perfect!

Gather corona virus from the air in WoT maps with MT-25. :P

OP, your purpose is good, but WG in their "WoT birthday" marathon haven't give free premium as gift, you want them to give you now? :)

How so?

I'd expect WG to do well out of all the extra players they'll be getting.

I see.  Although it's not bad PR and I expect they will do extremely well from all these people stuck at home for 4 months.

3 months of premium? I mean most are on a 14-day lockdown. China had 49 days before the stores did open. I doubt we will be at home for 90 days. 14 days would be more like it.

But sadly, WG have their own issues during this as pointed out above to focus on that. I mean some online games are less fortunate and have temp closed their servers. So be happy we can play at the least. Then again, there are 3 free tanks up for grabs. I doubt it will be the last free thing we will see over the next few months.

Who knows, once the staff working from one settles in, they might create an event just for that. Time will tell.

You should check why companies make donations.

It didn't cost them a thing, they simply decided where 10M of their taxes would go to.

WoT players already have an advantage, we've been dealing with airborne disease for years.

this may cause issues with people who already have it. The main reason I bought loot boxes was I the hope that I got prem tanks I already had(su100/prog 48) as you got roughly 10.5k gold in replacement. I bought 100 boxes and ended up with 67 k gold. I used over 20k of this gold buying a years worth of prem time as last year I founded myself  topping up the prem time each week. Currently no have 369 days of prem time left, if they now offer a discount you may have people in this situation having a valid point.
me personally I have no issues with it but given how toxic and entitled some people are now a days well you get what I am saying.

WG pay taxes?  In Cyprus?

It was donated in China, so my guess is that it came from the royalties from having another company managing the game over there.

Why is such information not on the front page?

How are people supposed to know about this? ...apart from third party websites mentioning it.

That, or the Chinese government gave them a voluntary choice between donating or having their game shut down.

Only if their tax rate is 100%.
