I like tds, and i like brawlers and ive reached the tier 6. Should i continue to grind to the v4? is it still enjoyable post-nerf?

Tier 7 surely is, so you can stop there for a while. Same for tier 9. Tier 10 is still one of the best TDs out there, so if your comfortable playing at this tier, go for it.

The tier 7 td is probably more op than 268 v4,you have insane armor at such a low tier.

268/4 is a good tank, well armoured, fast, good base penetration and good camo.

But I would advice you not to play it, because once you click on the "Battle" button you must be ready for HEAT and HE spam, (at least my experience), because once a player bounces off? He auto load the two other options, because they first don't wanna give you free damage block, second, they don't like missing shots.

The T9 is a pretty solid and fast TD with decent DPM, both guns can work properly, and it's a keeper tank. Also don't forget, they turn around like battleships, so don't rush in front.

The T8 is the same as the T9, at least imo, it has good mobility, gun alpha and excellent penetration, but you must prepare to grind through 3 guns to reach it's beautiful T10 gun.

The T7? That's the smaller version of 268/4 in T7, it has auto bounce armour, but it's gun depression is the worse of all IIRC, so don't go to bad positions that need gun dep.

I hope my opinion help you.

Gl. :)

I'd say that T7 and T9 are very fun to play, but T10 is so rage inducing that I'd avoid playing it for more than 3-4 battles at a time.

Armor on 268v4 is strong but inconsistent and you can't really hide your weak spots and arty hurts like hell. When it comes to mobility it is very fast in the straight line for such a heavily armored tank, reverse speed is decent, but traverse speed is garbage. Gun is not very good either, penetration is nice, but you have reduced alpha while keeping the long reload and HE shells have significantly less damage. Accuracy is god awful to the point that you'll be lucky to hit anything that's more than 300m away. Dispersion on track traverse is pretty bad so you can't just go around a corner and accurately snap a shot.

Basically if you want to play high tier armored TD stick with T110E3.

stared at a 268v4 yesterday with my T30. red. all i could see head to toe was red. friend tells me "shoot the lowerplate weak spot" and i saw a 1 pixel line under the large frontal plate. needless to say i missed it twice and died to him. nice "weak spots" WG.

Always go for cupola instead of lower plate. And if you are taller than 268v4 (i think T30 might be) or you're simply above him , go for the upper plate.

Pretty sad when you gotta pixel hunt on a enemy TD pressing R and your 270 base pen is not enough.

The SU-101 is a pos, but SU-100M1 and Object 263 are great and worth grinding for.

As for Bobject, ignore those who claim it's unplayable - it's perfectly serviceable and one of the better assault guns in Tier 10. Expect a lot (and I mean A LOT) of premium ammo and HE to be thrown at you though.

If you want to pen a weakspot you have to load premium, didn't you know. Noobie.

The T9 is a pretty solid and fast TD with decent DPM, both guns can work properly, and it's a keeper tank. Also don't forget, they turn around like battleships, so don't rush in front.

DPM is not solid. It's trash - JagdTiger reloads nearly 4s faster while Obj. 704 ~1 s longer for 750 alpha (almost 500 DPM more). It has the worst DPM of all tier 9 TDs, joint with T30... which hits for 750 and has a turret (pretty big deal).

Armour barely works because it's only in the front (unlike 268v4), LFP is trash and arty/HE spammers love you. The only good thing about this tank is the speed but you can't really use this tank aggressively because you it doesn't have turret (get close to somebody = get rekt), turns like a boat, it doesn't have firepower to fight it out (plenty of tier 9 HTs have ~2.2k DPM - similar to 263) and its armour is worthless in close range.

This is a TD with an identity crisis - it wants to be assault TD but it doesn't have armour and firepower to be successful at it so you are forced to stay back like a traditional TDs... except other TDs have firepower to compensate for their lack of turret and inflexibility. Let's not forget the whooping 360 m view range so you are basically forced to use binos...

I don't know why people like this thing. Other TDs do TD's job way better and if you want to be aggressive - just play a heavy tank. You have a turret, more effective armour and often better gun. If you really need fast TD, just get Foch - armour effectiveness is similar (both have trash armour except the front, coupled with big weakspots) but Foch doesn't take 1k hits from arty (at least not often), turns faster (so you aren't dead meat in close range), gun has a better placement (no turret + gun in the back = rip) and you have 1600 dmg autoloader...

268v4 is great...against the right enemy. You can carry and bully like a boss. But in TX games it struggles to be an aggressive TD and then relies on sniping more and that's not its strength.  It does take awareness to play well and needs friends around it but then you can carry and lead the charge.

v4 is an extra heavy tank to your team. It's absurdly fast for its armour too. It's better than the regular 268 by a mile.

Those two are not really comparable, 268v4 is much better in close to medium range combat, but regular 268 is massively better at long range.

Yeah but the 268 is old news now. It doesn't offer anything special.
