Usually, if it's exclusive to Blitz like the Warhammer tanks. They say that it's an exclusive. Not been said here. But they more or less said when it was first announced "as a first, we get them first". That's about it.

So who knows who long it might take before we see them etc. It could be the Xmas patch for all we know.

Blitz and PC aren't very related in how techtrees will look like.

Both got British light tanks, and they got different vehicles at different tiers.

But apparently they want to make some weird Italian heavies instead, because y'know, reasons.

Ye I know, I saw something about Italian heavies. I quess it will another complete line of blueprints, wooden prototypes, ... If they made Italian TD line instead, you would have vehicles that were produced and saw actuall combat. They would still probably have to add some blueprints, prototypes for say tier 9 and 10, but from tier 5 (maybe 6) you could make easy line of WW2 semovente of different types. Now this turned to offtopic :D

Japanese TDs have been considered by the PC team a bit before they got announced on Blitz so there's a good chance they are coming this year (I could be overly hopeful after waiting for almost 7 years, though). No idea if the Italian HTs are coming before them or not, probably will because they got announced first, so if they come this year a Christmas patch sounds reasonable.

Blitz should give an idea what the high tiers could look like but their balance team is completely separate so there's a chance (and its likely, if anything) that the Japanese TD line is very different on PC. Personally, I hope it starts from tier 4 instead of tier 7 (like all other TD lines after tech tree rework).

Highly doubt it's even that. For starters, they used the only real heavy tanks Italy had (the P26 and P43s) got already used as medium tanks in-game

Aside from tier 2-3 stuff (that will be avoided anyway with tech tree reworks, so no Fiat 2000) and some multi-turreted super-heavies from 1930s (which got directly deconfirmed by WG), Italy has no historical heavy tank candidates. WG probably has dug out some very obscure designs or simply "specifics" of them that they will base the heavy tanks on, if even that. They might also be completely fictional. If anything, my guess is that they simply take Progettos, make them fat and put them as tier 8-10. Either a some kind of heavium with good turret, gun depression and autoreloader or an US/UK heavy with an autoreloader. The line can be pretty much anything, though, so I could be completely wrong.

Well, to be fair, the Italian "heavies" were only called that by the Italians due to their intended role (support other tanks), afaik, and not due to their capabilities.

True for the P26 (heaviest Italian WW2 tank that was produced), it was more a medium tank in terms of capabilities. However, the P43 series were actual heavy tanks in terms of their parameters, especially the P43 bis. 80-100 mm sloped upper glacis plate and a 90 mm gun definitely fits the standards of a heavy tank.

I thought eekeeboo said on his recent streams that they are on the back burner and focus has been switched to other things.
