So update 1.9 tells us, all removed T6+ tanks will be easily available for credits without crew training characteristic. This is very unfair for those players who grinded, spent time and money on them.

Here is a compromise that is easy to implement.

Any player who owns those tanks in their garage prior to the update, gets a special additional status for those tanks. Those tanks become crew trainers. (Collector Veteran or something)

I think that is fair for everyone. What do you think?

Not sure if it would make a difference, people will still be able to buy them without moving an inch, just grind credits and buy them if you already have a T10.

So, no idea from me.

I don't care.

Also, the word you're looking for is "compensation".

I don't think it would be easy to implement. It would require adding a relation between (a tank type, a player,  is crew trainer status) and logic to make it work.

If I could use any crew in my CGC vs one that bought it later via the collector's store? It would make a difference. Nor would I object to it tbh.

Unfair because expectations weren't met even though the current news are the only official and final ones?

As far as I can tell, you got exactly what you set out to get: grinded lines and tanks.

Lol. No.

Tech tree tanks stay tech tree tanks, even tho they have been moved to a special tab.

Also, there is no fiasko, thus no compromise needed.

Besides, if WG would give all these vehicles special status, they wouldn't sell any premium tanks anymore.

So, it will never ever happen.

Tier VI+, so not just the Tier VIs, but the removed Tier Xs as well.

totally wrong here. Under Powered Reward tanks don't earn credits and are mostly useless.

I played like 20 games in Super Hellcat.. I would NEVER played Super Hellcat if a full crew was required.

You will NEVER see the CGC anymore if you need a crew for it. That's kinda sad in itself.

Again you don't lose anything , you got the tank and got your works worth out of it, what else you want.

That would be nice if they were reward status. No point wasting credits on average to below average tanks.

The high tier tanks that will be removed from tech tree should become special vehicles not collectors.

Sooo...

I'm in the same boat as you, I ground all tanks in question and bought most of them. Cost me a considerable amount of x5 missions from chinese ny/twitch and a handful of BPs, along with some hours in tanks I did not enjoy at all. Just like you, I made a bad call.

Is WG to blame? No.

Do I think I have a right to be compensated? No.

Will this in and way, shape or form alter how much I play this game or how much I spend on it? No.

I fudged up, and only have myself to blame. Better luck next time.

Also, I don't think your grand solution to this "problem" can be implemented. At all. Pretty sure WG would have to create clone tanks for the tier 6+ collector's vehicles if only those who had the tank prior to 1.19. get a crew-trainer version of it. At wich point they kind of also have to ban you from buying the original from the shop, since you shouldn't have the same tank twice anyways. Way too convoluted for any company to implement.

Conclusion: stop blaming others for you bad decisions...

Whatever we say on the EU forums, WG usually listen to the RU forums. It depends what the RU forums say about the WG proposals.

When WG moved the 430 down to tier 9 to make way for the 430u they cloned the tank and reassigned the version as the 430b I believe to retain its old stats. They could do the exact same thing now. Anyone owning a T62A at launch of patch gets it auto-replaced with the crew trainer version and the standard version ends up in the tank shop or whatever they're doing. Simple fix and there is precedent for it.

You mean like "Vehicle X has recieved an elite status"? Somehow I don't think it would be DIFFICULT to implement.
