Same as featured in WoWs. Regardless of what it does so far as game rewards goes, nothing probably, I still very much like this feature. It's a positive feature and what it does is it gives us the option to let that player know they done good or were found an impressive teammate and/or worthy opponent so for me that's something I enjoy both placing on a player from either team, doesn't even have to be my team and doesn't matter if they won or lost plus from personal experience it's actually rather nice to be notified after a battle that another player has compliment you.

Let's have this feature in WoT too. What do you guys think? Give it a like if you like it and if not, don't. Leave a comment if you feel its a good or bad idea but honestly, being biased towards it, I honestly don't see the harm in it and can only be a positive thing amidst a sea of salty rants and negative reports.

I actually did that today, an enemy platoon of three, me and my lad faced them. In Togs lol, was a nice game with both platoons top in xp and damage, but they outplayed us, divided our guns, and just played really well, it was an enjoyable game so I sent a message saying well done and thanks after the battle, credit was due :).

But that would be admitting that they played better and I don't like that.

It's a good idea.
But WG prefers their game toxic apparently, they ignore all those requests people (incl I twice) have made.

It does amuse me that if I contact a player after a match and compliment them sometimes the person concerned assumes I'm being sarcastic and am having a go. Amusing but sadly indicative of WoT and, perhaps, the internet as a whole.

Compliment feature should be welcome for certain!

Perhaps it can even out your negative reports as well? So say one match you get your panties in a bunch and call a player some rude word rightfully for playing very badly, you get reported for insulting. Yet another player in that match or another match gives you a compliment for carrying like a boss, those can even out each other.

That way you're not just showing one side of the story either.

Great idea that. "Good Karma" points. Perhaps even slightly boost the xp or credit % of each battle. Not much, like maybe just 1 or 2% after X amount of compliments, but still, it would be something nice to effectively reward good play and behavior which would possibly encourage players to not be toxic and say something unpleasant for fear of losing that nice little % bonus they acquired through compliments. Just a thought.

Being abusive and carrying a game are not two sides of the same coin.

So being a complete arse in chat is ok as long as you had a good game. Well it’s a point of view I suppose.

I am all for. Just because sometimes it would be very nice to easily compliment a fellow player for doing a good job. I do send a few after game messages saying that, but a "like" button would be very much welcome. And it would be easy to implement too, as the function with "reports" already exists in game.

One is good, one is bad. Same coin, perhaps not the same currency.

If you are being a complete arse you'll still get sanctioned as there won't be enough positive points to make up for it.

Within reason and for normal people, this would not be a bad system.

There's something similar in WoT Blitz, now I dont remember it exactly as i played blitz only like 3 months when my PC broke, but there was something like how others view you - team player, solid rival, ... or something like that.

So you think abusing other players in chat is fine as long as you had a good game because that’s pretty much what you said. How do you actually function, at all, socially in real life. I’m honestly curious?

Like any normal human being really.

In real life if you did a shoit job I'd tell you as well, certainly if you were on my team, nothing special there.

This is a game, not the UN peace summit.

Yes of course you would. Oh and I’d look up the definition of normal if I was you because it may not mean what you think it does.

Goodbye.

Well, I know from experience that if you don't point out problems, they keep festering and only get worse in the long run.

So pointing them out, politely at first, is the best way to fix address them. If after that they still don't get fixed, then a more strict addressing might be needed to steer things in the correct direction.

That is a perfectly normal way of handling problems, not addressing them will not fix them and in most cases, make it worse.

In my line of work we strive to be among the best in the field and a solid critiquing of work is part of that. If you get told your work is not up to standard a couple of times it will motivate you to actually become better, is my experience.

Added benefit is that you learn that words only hurt when there is a truth to them, which is something very useful to know in life as it gives you the ability to shrug off pretty much everything else that's thrown your way.

If someone in WoT tells me I played like garbage and I know it's true, why would I be mad at him for? He is just stating facts.
