Two different types of American armour are available in the Premium Shop. Which one do you prefer?

Both useful for Frontlines in some spots. TS5 can hold some positions well, while I had some really good games in Chrysler K, both when pushing on a cap and while defending some positions against multiple enemies. Of course, arty consumables can ruin many a good dig ins. I don't play randoms, so can't say if they are any good for +2mm pubs.

Chrysler K - during the Black Market event, I, as a bit of a joke, bid 4,5 mil credits and ended up getting the GF version of this tank. I joked that I wasn't sure if I'd won or lost with that bet. So after having a chance to play it for a while now... I wouldn't recommend it. As soon as you meet tier IX or X, or as soon as anyone tabs the 2 key, the armour becomes absolutely useless. The gun is, weird. It has a large aiming reticle, so it would seem like it would be on the derpy side, and sometimes it is, but more often than not I've hit shots that I was less than sure about. Penetrating anything is, of course, a completely different matter unless you're ready to bleed credits with gold ammo. However, I will say that even though this tank is just plain bad in normal games, I've had surprising use out of it in Frontline. I guess the longer ranges help with armour, and although it's doesn't have a high top speed, it has good power to weight so when you reach the top speed, you can keep going close to that even at a slight incline. Until the arty gets you, anyway (that engine deck is way too weak).

TS-5 - This one I quite like, despite its weaknesses. It has two very obvious weak spots (the lower plate and cupola) that pretty much everyone can pen even with regular ammo (higher tiers just laugh all the way to the bank with your hit points), and the gun isn't really meant for long-range sniping. What this means in practice is that this is a really good medium-range brawler assault TD (at knife fight range you're just going to be outflanked, as this thing has about the same mobility as the T28) with a good pen and DPM (my set of BIA, vents, and rammer have the reload at 7 seconds, and you have 400 alpha).

Last year I have had only HT for Frontlines and it was so pain that I quit.

I will never take TS-5 to FL even I like it quite much in Randoms.

I would recommend TS-5, it's a solid and great damage dealer. You won't even notice when you reached 4k damage sometimes. :P

I got mine from the marathon, and i managed to Ace it with a fabulous 6k damage game.

I can confirm TS-5 works quite well in FL, but only when defending a corridor with enemies willing to push.

Haven't really bothered playing it in randoms yet.

On paper and in review videos both seem nice. Quicky is very positive about the TS-5 but generally I hate the situationalness of slower casemate style TDs. I much prefer something like the Skorpion G. And, as we all know, the armor will eventually get power crept. So i'm maybe thinking about the Chrysler K, since I don't have such a vehicle yet. Closest brawlers in my collection is the IS-3. Still i'm grinding towards the VK45.02P which probably play a bit similar albeit less mobile. Not sure about this one. You guys think we'll see these vehicles  more regularly on the store from now on or are they considered rare and with less opportunities to get them?
