Simple question: is it worth it when having a Type 64 and compared to the F2P WZ 131?

I absolutely love the WZ 131 and plan to go up that line.

The Type 64 is a great tank, but it needs a radio operator. All the other tanks in the line only has 4 crew members, so if you want to use the Type 64 for crew training most of the XP will go to the radio operator (as the other crew member will see a lot more action in the tech tree tanks). The Type 64 to me has always been a standalone tank, good for light missions and stat padding.

The Type 62 is a decent tank, on stats it isn't as good as the WZ 131, but it is fun to play. I've had mine for a long time, and I still play it from time to time, and still enjoy it. I also have the M41D, so I use that for crew training, basically I only play the Type 62 for fun, and for that it's a good fit. Mobility, gun handling and view rage are all good.

So if you're not sure, buy this tank if you want something decent to play when you get fed up of tier 8+ MM, or if you want a crew trainer for the Chinese light line. I still enjoy it, even though I have many other light premiums.

Edit: DPM with a 21/2 skill crew is 2379, and view range 464m, not bad for tier 7.

In the world of wheelchairs classic scouts are dead.

But you can still buy them in bundles.

With love

After the introduction of Crew books do you think any tank is useful for crew training?

Just play anything OP or a premium that you do well in it and buy crew books.

Premium tanks are not worth their money anymore, unless they have a unique feature or they are broken-OP.

Why dos it have to be in a bundle? I would have thought they could have sold the tank on its own as well as the bundles. Might sell a few more then. At 30 odd pound I won't buy it but at say £15 I would.

Fun little light tank but mobility wise, inferior to the new WZ-131.

Still, I have fun driving it.

Used to be a decent tank a few years ago, completely useless nowadays due to the wheeled virus.

Just compared it in game with the WZ 131. The Type has a far higher ROF, marginaly lower aimtime and 20 meter more viewrange. The WZ has better pen and dmg, the hp/ton is way better and it has marginally better health. The ROF of the WZ bothers me a little bit but i would not trade that for less mobility. Since it is a pricy bundle, i'll pass.

As to the clown car plague, they are in another universe anyway: they pop up and 9/10 i'm dead, no matter what i try or what i drive. Epic mistake, ruining the fun for the majority of the players, way worse then arty...nuff said on the fora about those...

In 2018/2019 advent calendar I wanted to buy this tank for gold, but then I think Chrysler K came with a price that was only 1-2k gold more, so I got that instead.

OK tank. But nowhere near worth paying nearly £35 for a tier 7 light.

Yet again its a rip off bundle!!

Not really worth it, tbh not much is worth it these days in wot.

My 30% anniversary coupon is about to expire ....and can't see what I'd want to spend money on any more here.  Might fall for an unbundled tiger 2 -c ...but that is the prime thing only I guess. So money saved :coin:
