They might not be the same class, but they play in the same league.

Is it about time these 2 tanks get back to the tech tree? There is plenty of space now.

Anybody experience with the T-34-3 and the WZ 120? I have the WZ unlocked. I do not really need another premium but if the T-34-3 is better then the WZ i might be tempted and not get the WZ at all. If the difference is limited, i'll just save me the € and go for the WZ.

Aren't special matchmaking tanks ruining the mm?

T-34-3 is meh, well ok most consider it trash but I am fond of it.

Although once I played it and thought my Type 59 was completely broken and I was ammo racked or the loader/gunner were dead and the game bugged

No they are not....

Normal MM tanks are breaking it....because a tank with special MM is special and his biggest flaws are mitigated by not meeting two tiers higher enemies which he could not even scratch.

MM is mostly broken by broken tanks like wheelchairs....toxic Le arty (tier V)...and massive gold spam....also seal-clubbing platoons are ridiculous...but WG is more likely to give away more toxic tanks than fixing something.

E.g. T54E1 tier IX medium turned into heavy tank....without any changes...just changed icon medium -> heavy...

T-34-3 is not a bad tank tho, it has good maneuverability, decent speed for a med and proper armor. Very balanced tank and if you dont know how to play on it dont say that it is trash ;). Maybe search some problems into your skills.

Changing top gun pen from 210 mm to 248mm is not considered as change?

Stay away from the T-34-3. It is slow, and gun handling must be amongst the worst of all tier 8 meds. Poor dispersion, poor soft stats and low penetration doesn't help at all, and shell cost is also the most expensive of the tier 8 mediums. It really is a pitty, it is on of the most beautiful models in the game, even more so after the HD rework, but isn't worth paying for it just to sit in the garage. I traded mine many moons ago out of frustration.

The FCM is okay, it is more of medium with large HP pool than a heavy, but it's mobility makes it usefull on larger maps such as Frontline. The lack of reliable armor means this is a very unforgiving tank, but at the same time a skilled player can make this tank perform well.

If you are new, or only have a few premiums, stay away from these tanks. I'd go so far as to say the T-34-3 is only a collectors tank, for the price there are far better options out there.

Well I've Aced it but everyone gets lucky once or twice right? No need to be rude about it however is there?

It's hardly a top tier tank in terms of ability is it? At best it's a mediocre T8 Medium and inferior to the Type 59 even pre buffs. I think I prefer even the Panther 8.8cm to this.

I wouldn't buy the T-34-3 again, better off playing the Progetto or something that is actually flexible instead of a niche tank.

I mean T-34-3 was made many years ago, when premium tanks were a little weaker than a regular ones, after the gun stabilisation and pen buffs that tank is amazing because of the pref mm. So its even hard to compare it with progetto. And no, there's no worse med than panther 8.8 :)

Both of these pretty meh - the T-34-3 is a Type-59 wannabe with more alpha and decent turret armour, but lacking in all other departments, and the FCM is a medium/heavy hybrid that is basically the worst of both worlds. Don't get me wrong, they are playable, and I actually like to take out the T-34-3 sometimes at least and get decent results in it, but all in all neither of these can be recommended. There is a reason why you hardly ever see either of these in Frontlines, which says a lot. Oh, and the T-34-3 is overpriced as hell; always has been - I guess that's because they released it as a mediocre replacement when they took the Type 59 out of the Premium shop, to fool those desperate for a Type 59 kind of tank. I fell for it, too, back in the day.

i think they should add them to the in game shop and put the 2 for 20£ as its not the most of meta tanks in the game at the momment

but i guess these are old and WG want to resell the more older prem tanks which is good :)

I was referring to WG:s own words years ago, they pretty much said "Pref mm tanks are putting to much strain on the matchmaker, ruins it and is the reason why other tier 8's face tier 10 so often" as a reason to nerf them by giving them +2 mm, this of course received a huge backlash from the community and they eventually changed their mind. Then they fixed mm for tier 8's anyway, without changing battle tiers of pref mm tanks.

Whoah...... you do know that the tech tree T-34-3 is the T-34-2 don't you? (I'm joking - of course you do :) ) and you're right they used to be a little weaker, but in this instance the T-34-2 is the poooooor relation of both T-34-3 and the Type 59.

I have heard people describe it as:  "with the 100mm its just a worse T44 and with the 122 its a worse T-34-3 without prem MM"

Yeah, thats the main reason why I don't want  to grind for 121 because of terrible tier 8 and tier 9 with -3 depression angle:teethhappy:

I love my T-34-3. Initially I bought it as a lookalike Type 59, and whilst it is one of the better looking models in the game, unfortunately it gets outshone by more 'meta' meds like the T-44-100 and Progetto 46. I use mine as a ridgeline brawler, good for trading shots with that big 390 alpha and good turret armour (two cupola weakspots however). 6.5 degrees of gun depression did wonders for this tank but I personally would not recommend it to inexperienced players.
