Obsolete I think now with the wheeled tanks. By the time you get to a bush to spot at the start of the game the wheeled tanks will already be there, no matter how fast the ELC 90 is or how effective the camo is on it.

I think it still would be OK for end game matches, that's if the wheeled tanks are dead.

The only light tank I would play & purchase that's not a wheeled tank at Tier 8 at the moment is the LT-432

If you really want it and know how to play it, why not?

I heard it's a lot of fun in good hands. EBR seems like a better buy though for more or less the same price.

Not to burst your bubble though, but everyone with a rental from the "test" got an offer like that for the tank they choose (I got one for the Somua) :P

I am just having a laugh because it says it is special offer but in reality the elc is actually being sold for same price in normal shop. :teethhappy:

Oh should have figured that out

Yes it's pretty stupid that there's not even a 10 percent sale or something.

It is a good and very fun tank to play. My absolute favorite LT of all LTs in the game i have played. Buuuuuuuuuuut not anymore - since the EBRs have killed it. You just get rekd by those wheelies and they are faster than you so you cannot run away from them when the come after you - and you cant hit them when they shoot you.

It is just not meta anymore.

I still love to play mine. Wheels have impacted one side of his performance for sure. But he still does things better than the premium EBR.

Yep, with the right bushes EBR can only spot you by proxy.

Love it. It’s a refreshing change from “normal” LT play, it makes me good credit even though I’m not great at playing it. Requires more use of brain than use of fast-twitch reflexes. It’ll teach you things about maps you never considered before.

EBR is a good bully if you want to get away fast. ELC is a good bully if you want to be sneaky and annoying at the same time.

Funny how a scrub like me has 52.53% WR, 2035 WN8 in it after 415 battles, and 70.37% WR 2441 WN8 in the last 54 battles in this obsolete tank...isn't it?

Tank is very fun for me and is going to be my 2nd. most played tank in not too long. Granted I have a 4 perk 80%'ish 5th perk crew, improved optics and imptoved vents + binocs, which helps, along with food. It's even one of a whooping 2 tanks I have 2 MoE on. I kill more tanks in this thing that the EBR 75 and spot almost as much.

That’s only because of what the game play has been like recently with the players that have been during lockdown.
Everyone’s true figures will return again once all this is over in the tanks.

I really like mine.

It's not super competetive or anything. Definitely not want to rely on doing damage, even though clipping tanks every now and then does add your damage numbers, and even sometimes lets you do good damage as well.

But in general, you shouldn't be expecting to do more damage.

This is a very good passive scout though. The camo is insane, and this tank is insanely hard to hit on long range.

And one of the most important things that people almost never mention is that because of it's size, you can use a lot of hills as cover that pretty much all other tanks can not use as cover.

Playing this tank basically changes the maps for you because you get extra hills as potential cover.

I've had so many games laughing my [edited]off just by how ridiculous the camo can be at some spots, where enemies won't even spot you until they get within x-ray range.

Another side note is that it can be used effectively to cap in Frontline, again, because of it's size and camo.

Setting up a camo net in a cap circle is amazing as well.

tl;dr: It's mainly a very fun tank if you abuse it's small size and ridiculous camo, but it's not super competetive per se.

Since I got the tank on first release I've had it since long before any lockdown, so the overall WN8 is mostly generated from normal game situation.

It was available through tank trade in last time, I'd wait for that if you have something to part exchange.

I liked it, was my go-to LT of choice before wheeled vehicles. It can still perform, but it's more situational than before WVs.
