hi

Sorry if this is a silly question but when you play frontlines the tank crews do not seem to train up like they do in randoms.  I have played several games and the percentage of the crew skill never seems to advance.  Is this right or am I mistaken.

Thanks

It actually does but seems to go at a really slow rate if I compare the amount of XP you get from a game with the amount of crew XP development. I might be wrong though

It is actually better than randoms. You will get more exp in frontline and if you use premium tanks and boosters your crew skills will skyrocket. Only better thing for crew are 300% crew exp events.

It obviously depends on how much damage, spotting, capping and defending you do. If you don't do much in the 20-30 min the FL game takes, you won't see much improvement. But with 10-15k combined and some cap/defense it pretty much sky rockets.

Actually I noticed the opposite. My crew training is faster, although my usual XP in FL is +2500.

It skyrockets.

Don't forget, it's split between the tanks depending on what you did with each one... So if you have a great game, but played like crap in one of your tanks, don't expect the crew of that tank to get much XP. If you did 10k damage in one tank and only 2k in another obviously the tank you did 10k damage in will get 5x the XP the other one gets etc. They're calculated individually

My M40/43 crew got so good playing Frontline I ended up moving them into a different trunk and starting a new one so the crew xp can't be that bad.

Played one battle of FL yesterday, got to Lt. before the battle was over (reminded my why I don't play FL any more) :)

Played 2 tanks in the battle, one tank had a zero skill crew in it, went to 12% with that one battle, so I'd say FL is pretty decent for training at least

If you want to train your crew, make sure Accelerated Crew Training in On.

And it depends how good your crew is. If you already have a very good crew, the progression is slow.

Maybe you're right, but perhaps it's also just an impression cause if your tank gets killed you play another one and so forth, so the total XP gets distributed over multiple tanks...

Plus, some of those tanks have better games than others.

In other words it depends on your performance and how many different tanks you play, per battle.
