I need your expertise help, guys, please.

I have a crew in my M4A1 Rev. (French premium medium tank). Their Specialization is AMX 30 (French medium tank). They look like this:

When I put them in my AMX 30, the Situational Awareness skill on the Commander goes inactive. Why is that?

Because that is a radio operator skill and he is no longer the radio man.

Bottom left corner. You can see wich tanker responsible to wich roles. Right now your loader is the radioman not your commander.

Okay, I see. It's actually the Loader in the AMX 30 who is responsible for the SA skill now.

Why do WG arrange it this way? It's a French premium medium tank. Its crew should be compatible with the AMX. Is it a way to ripp me of gold?

The crew is compatible with the tank, but that doesn't mean all crew members will always do the same secondary "jobs" so that all skills are too.

There are multiple examples, but the simplest explanation is that you can have different ways of having crews of 2, 3 or 4 doing 5 distinct functions.

My guess is based on how in the real tank was?

For example, french UE57 TD has 4 man crew in WOT.

That's impossible IRL.

To force you to spend gold and xp to train/retrain your crews over and over.

The crew's secondary roles are based more on the historical module & crew location tbh more so than anything. In the M4 it's the commander, as the radio module is in the rear turret behind the commander. As that's where all Shermans had their radio. On the AMX 30's the radio is in the hull, more or less under the gun by the loader's legs. Thus he got the role.

That is a great picture, but is not of the 57mm prototype. That vehicle would have carried a crew of four with the gun crew firing the weapon dismounted from the vehicle, as I understand it.
