X 3 Artillery is just too many

I know we will never get rid of artillery from the game, but MM with 3 arty on each side is just too many, being 1 in 5 of every tank playing.

If all three arty home in on your tank, its game over. I got tracked twice  in quick succession and by the time I was able to move again, the staggered reload of the 3 artillery players meant I was just a sitting duck, constantly re-tracked with my HP pool diminishing fast.

This isn't meant to be an artillery whinge (although I'm bound to be accused of it), but rather a request for better balance and that balance being slightly less than 20% artillery each game.

Theoretically it is an artyllery whine though.And really if 3 vehicles with more than 10+ seconds of reload can keep you tracked it seems to be an issue of positioning than an issue of balance regardless of class of said vehicles.

Ya 3 are too many in tier 10 90% 3 Arty even many twitch player have said that can't play my paper meds yesterday tier 10 gc hit my amx 30 for 1.2k and super heavies :( in my e100 Westfield three Arty constantly hting me again and again until they dried me out.

Yes, one indirect fire support vehicle per team is enough.

I don't like competition.

Arty=sit in one bush all game waiting to click every 15 seconds, so skill based you can play one handed while watching TV.

 

All ary does is punish aggressive play.

Heavy tank players are generally considered to be far more special than the average.

5 classes in the game, so that one could reasonably expect (if everything was equal, which of course it is not) c 3 of each in most games. Instead, no games have more than 3 arillery, and many have 2, 1 or none, so if you "hate" artillery , I would say you just have to suck it up when you get that 3 game, just as you have to when you get an unfavourable map for your tank.

If you get focused by all 3 artillery, it is because you have not only come to their attention by being spotted early, but you are in a vunerable position, and stay there. It is a myth that artillery focus on good players, they hit what is available, secondly what seems a problem for their team...

Any mention of arty is a whine in someones book!

However, I agree if I'd been in a more sheltered position the effect of arty would've been reduced, but this happened climbing into position after being spotted by an aggressive EBR.  If they stagger their fire at just one tank, thats a shell landing about every 7-8 seconds...........what can you do about that other than carry 3 repair kits

I can't argue the maths, but this is a question of balance not just numbers

There are quite a lot of situations where you end up shafted...the other day I thought I was being clever sidling round a corner, in my bottom tier medium, only to find 3 higher tier heavies (who really should have been nowhere near there) all pointing at me. Get it wrong, whether your fault or not, your lifespan in the game is short.
