Hi guys, how are you

Sorry I don't come here to complain, the purpose of this discussion is simply to inform and learn!

about Emil II the Swedish heavy tank, I want to know if the camouflage net that attached at the top of the tank's turret is a part of it or no!? as you see in the 2 screen shots that attached there is a whole  in the camouflage net from enemy shot that dealt damage to my tank (screen 014) and in the second one (screen 015) there is nothing, then how a shot can penetrate the camouflage net and deal damage to the tank!?

as you see there is nothing on the top of the Emil II turret!!!

He overmatched your roof. It is only 25mm thick. Thats why all good Emil 2 players rise the gun when they are reloading.

Interesting..... confusing

Regardless of the roof and overpen, the graphics show the shot hitting a net and not the roof.

If that shot hole is correct, then it should have flown through the net and missed.

WG logic I guess.

Edit:  hang on they're different games on different maps...... second edit attempt, guess the original point is valid

The hit marks aren't that reliable. The roof is overmatchable, so the shell just needs to grace it and it does damage.

Emil 2 turret roof rises when the barrel is aimed downwards. The pen marker is just drawn on the outside of the visual hitbox but the penetration happened to the roof, on the armor hit box. Absolutely nothing wrong with logic.

Not sure what you mean by the second screen shot? As in there is nothing?

Destruction models are different to the tanks in game... WG discussed this in the recent Q&A, it's too much like hard work for them to fix it.

At this angle, you're kidding me, the angle of the turret was tangent to the ground, I watched the game video a several time times. The bullet had to go right into the net at this angel.

The pen marker is drawn to the visual hitbox (the netting) so it would show but the penetration actually happened to the roof. If the pen marker was always drawn only in the armor hitbox, then it of course would be hidden from the viewer in case of these 3d styles or some external modules.

I don't think so, I saw several shot that hit the top of tank's turrets even with 3D styles, but never seen something like this

What Lethal means is that if a gun hits your top turret while it's angled down, the hit will show in the netting, but it actually hits the back of the roof which is angled up at that point.
