Well do you need crew training for both, or is it mainly income? As the AT-15A is amazing... when it works. But the gun only works when top tier, as it's the same as on the tier 5 Archer. But with an insane ROF. And it's slow, so you might be too late to any damage. So income is... variable. The great thing about that TD is that most of the armor is better than the AT-15 one tier up. As it's still the pre HD layout.

Pudel always works. Be it as a flanker, damage dealer, or assist farmer. And is a solid income machine even one tier lower.

Thanks for response, it is mainly income. Maybe it is important to say that I have Crom B.

AT-15A has less DPM than tier 6 medium tanks, despite having only 150 alpha. The ROF is good for keeping enemies perma tracked but it's not really that great.

Armor however is actually good on AT-15A. It's pretty good for bounce missions.

EDIT: OP, don't buy AT-15A if you want to grind credits, it's pretty bad for that. It's not a fun tank to play and the base penetration is terrible.

Probably picking the AT-15A, since it's the most expensive out of the three (so you'll get more on resell) and usually pref mm tanks are a good way to blow off some steam after the mm system screwed you over a few times in a row.

That said, I'm currently running the AT-7 also (grinding for the Tortoise) but it's only meh. Armor got powercrept, too many autoloaders flanking and emptying in your side, very well known weakspots. So it's by no means a very enjoyable tank imo.

But then, already had the regular Panther and it was only meh as well. Not particularly looking hard for another one, even be it at Tier VI. Many options there as well (Pz. IV S / Bretagne Panther / VK30.02M) so not feeling the urge. The M4 we don't even need talking about, for the horrible shitbox it seems to be. My derpy T6 Medium will run all over it, at a tier lower.

Last month I picked the TOG because it's 'sorta' rare. Something like that would have been nice for this month too. Would have liked the Pz V/IV par example.

Pudel is probably better, but it is useless as as crew trainer.

AT tanks and Polish mediums are not for the sane persons anyway.

I'd take what ever you like to play more, it's kinda pointless to have a technically good tank that you don't play.

M4 Imp.

Drove my Pudel last week and it felt kinda bad. Realized after some battles the crew was specced for heavies and equipment was missing. (The point here is that Pudel doesn't train crew well due to being medium while top tier polish tanks are heavies).

Actually, pick the Pudel, it's the best one.

I seem to remember reading the Polish line will get high-tier mediums sometime in the future?

ROF is as I said one of the good things about it... not many, but it's one of them. And yeah, the armor is stronger as it's pre HD. So it was never changed as it's a premium. Even the side armor is better vs the tier 8. So as top tier you can play it rather aggressive... IF you get to the front in time.

But for credits, I would not pick this. On great rounds this will ofc make more than any of the 3 options. But great rounds are not common with that speed on most maps to make it good on average tbh as a first pick.

I would say Pudel, AT-15, and M4 Improved in that order. M4 is just a sad 92 pen tank with less gold pen then the newly converted tier 5 German medium has with normal ammo that both faces tier 7. So if income is your thing, stay clear of that.

I have both the AT-15A and the Pudel.

I use them both as crew trainers.

I agree with the above quote. The AT-15A has some amazing games and some hilarious moments, but due to slow speed is inconsistent.

The Pudel always works.

Pick the one you want to train a crew for Poland or UK branch. Otherwise go for the Pudel as it is the more consistent of the two in having decent games.

I already have Bret Panther which if the French clone of Pudel so no to that one for me.

And I don't like tier V tanks. I'm gonna pick AT15A anyway. I hope it works well since I need a crew trainer for Brit TDs. I'm at tier 7 for both of the lines.

I have the SU 122-44 , it was one of my first  premiums and most played item on my account   ( close to 1600 battles) . It's a pure beast and no way i'd sell it.

I'd say they are completely different, although both are effective and fun

The Cromwell B is super-fast with a very good gun and not much armour

The Pudel is not very fast, but has an even better gun and effective armour at range

The Cromwell is a brawler, the Pudel is a sniper

I have the M4 Improved anyway from Loot Boxes. I didn't really want the AT-15A as I have already abandoned the idea of playing the UK assault TD line- although I could use it as a crew trainer. I didn't really want the Pudel either, so that leaves me a bit stuck.

Having read this, I guess I will try for the Pudel. I have the 25TP until it hits 50% WR, so I have a fairly reasonable crew to start with. If I sell it, they can permanently crew the Pudel
