I must say I love WG's marketing strategy to attach this pop-up garage discount coupon regardless of the battle in which it was triggered. 4 crushing losses in a row(this isn't a rank btw I couldn't give a flying F I just gotta laugh at the timing) with teammates that would embarrass a tier 1 battle and "Hey! How would you like to spend money on this game!!" sort of bs ahaha! love it! "You've just had several reasons to never play this game again and uninstall but please purchase one of our products on discount!!" wahahaah! :teethhappy:

I mean, seriously @ WG marketing team, if you're desperately seeking cash with a barrage of discounts, at least have the sense to attach them to a winning result only and not crushing defeats or chains of losses lol. Don't get me wrong, I have had a good session and all is well etc, BUT, I just have to cringe at the timing and logic at which you guys choose to implement a money grab effort. It's like someone coming up, kicking you in the nuts and then trying to sell you something... not sure that's the sound strat. :D

In the game is starting to look like the walls of a subway, splattered with things you can miss click on that directs you to their shop!

I've long stopped looking at discounts and coupons, they could give me a 100% off coupon and I wouldn't even know it.

Lol ya I just can't get over the timing of them though. They pick the moment in which you are least likely to spend a cent on this game to offer it. "Hi, I see you had a battle that made you want to stop playing, how about some money?" :great:

indeed. I've had the same feeling and it is something you do remember for a long time..

I did stop paying money for WoT when they introduced the accuracy changes(3y ago) with the infamous "25% RNG" on the grounds that the tanks I had just purchased before that became useless. Which in my book is "failure of delivery" on WG part. Since then I have purchased things(small ones) in WoT with gold I got from WoWP purchases, but WoT is extremely unappealing service to buy from with all those misleading ads.

I've had a suspicious amount of 20/30% discount coupons valid on everything in the premium shop including specials lately.

Not used any of them though and haven't spent money in a long time.

That design is so evil in real life.

I went to see panda bears last summer with my daughters. The exit from the exhibition round leads through a gift shop, which of course had huge fluffy panda toys all over it. It was embarrassing how daughters had to wrestle a grown man like me out of the shop, because we agreed to not buying anything before hand. I pouted like 15 minutes, but then got an ice cream so all good.

EDIT: Is this enough thread derailment for lock? Should I add some stuff about my real dinosaur pet I had as child?

Regardless of what Dr. Alan Grant writes, a chicken does NOT count as a dinosaur! :izmena::angry:

How dare you talk like that about Risto the dinosaur. He says he feels insulted.

EDIT: You are safe though, he is a vegetarian.

Derailed? This thread was a train wreck from the off lol. I just couldn't help myself on the back of several occasions now in which the timing of these "please spend some money with this great deal!" could not have been worse. But good God close this thread and bin at this point. In fact, give the OP a months ban from the forum... and also qpranger because why not.
