Just got the tank t28 HTC

I have 5 skill manuals so it will be 1 fully learned skill and 2nd one up to 50% learned immediately.

Can you please recommend me what order to take skills?

I always get sixth sense, deadeye, BIA, camos on my TDs then usually view/signal stuff after. T28 is pretty slow though so maybe you would want repairs too?

It kind of depends what other tank your crew will be shared with  - a sneaky / mobiler snipey tank will benefit from camo more than repairs, however I'll give what I would go for on an assault t28 alone with vent rammer optics

commander 6th repairs/recon

gunner snaphot reps

driver clutch braking reps

loader reps camo

loader safe stowage reps

Im not going to share the crew.

I have zero US tanks. So the crew will be dedicated to this tank.

Is this sniper or assault td?

If you're top tier against people who don't know where the weakspots are, you can have a good time bring aggressive, otherwise it's a support vehicle at best. T8 TDs will pen this frontally anywhere really with regular AP.

Repairs is crucial in this imo.

Personally, I'd just grind the crew naturally with boosters and 6th sense directive. If you dislike the vehicle then it's a lot of books wasted for something you won't play much.

I generally have zero interest in USA tech tree. So this is the only time I would be using tbe books  :D

But thanks for the heads up :)

Assault.

It's pretty solid, but you'll need to do the sidescrapping in an inverted way as to hide those machineguns on the sides.

Up to you, I thought the same when I first started but as you progress in the game you naturally branch out, 7 years in and I'm only starting to play Russian and American tanks.

Yeah I get you. Similar thing happened to me.

Although I forced myself to go out of my way to play non Russian tanks. I wanted an autoloader (so I started TVP line).

I needed a good light,  started the French Line.

American line just doesn't entice me for now :)

At least WG did a good job where the campaign needs 1 tank from Axis, Block, Allies... in order to do the missions. So they kind of force you to try new stuff. :)

It also really depends on your play style, if you're more like a sniper train Commander sixth sense and rest camo and second BIA. However the T28 has some armor and i play it aggressively. Than you will benefit more from sixth sense and repairs.

I am not exactly sure which crew books you mean, do you have 2x 100k + 3x 20k - that would roughly get you to 55% of the 2nd skill.

Anyway, if you get a full first skill, it is worth considering going for a perk that gets only active after reaching 100%. Natural choice would be 6th sense for the commander, maybe deadeye for gunner, safe stowage for loader, etc. Or you give them all BiA. The lack of 6th sense you can compensate with the respective directive, or you play the tank really as an assault TD at the front, and take the pings of the bounces as 6th sense; but as others said already, the armor is only really good against equal and lower tiers... That said, I also played most of my T95 battles without 6th sense, not even with the directive.

For the 2nd skill it would then be repair, view range, clutch breaking, ..

Except where you pretty much have only one nation.   I have the US tree and getting a whole bunch of other tier VI to do those second campaign missions isn't something I can really see happening.

The only non-elite tank I've played in months is the (fun/funny) Swedish Tier V TD.
