Honk! Honk!

Wait... It is unclear to see if the current decorations we can choose from the anniversay shop will still be available during the next round. Will this be the case, or do we need to pick them in the next few days?

Give it a few days until we have confirmation.

Oh the first 3 days will be crazy.
But after that with the restrictions/regulations the developers provided (cooldown and such) I think we got a good extra tool to warn allies they are in the way or need to make room. :) (or if they're in tunnel vision to wake them up for enemy incoming.) Or warn an enemy for his/her imminent doom (ramming speed! :izmena: )

I never played the test servers back then. But I consider the horns didn't had restrictions back then? Without restrictions/regulations I can understand it was more an annoyance better not to have.

Just like WoWS, I hope it is here to stay. It surely works better than having to point out every time the "fall back" command.

Hmm, have to lower the volume when playing, otherwise the neighbors might dive for cover every time  :hiding:

There is a reason the horn didn't persist. It was imbecilic.

This game is becoming more and more aimed at 5 year olds with each week that passes.

Additional elements will be added to the section in the store. Viz. HERE.

I would give it to my sisters twins to try, but they are already 7 and a half, they might think its childish..

Its official nothing can be added to the game that's remotely funny as it might upset the grognards.

So there is going to be a horn around for a while, and given it was at one point in the game and this tenth anniversary is all about celebrating the history of the game over that period well why the heck not add horns.

If it upsets the deeply serious among us make it a permanent feature I say.

There is a difference between getting older and getting old.

Those of us who get older without getting old can still have a laugh.

So your dev's do not have time to nerf EBR's but they have time to put a horn on tank.

Pathetic...

But some people may enjoy it so I will go into settings and disable it.

I find it to be pretty great.

There are tons of issues in WoT that will not be fixed before a very long time or never.

The people adding in the horns are not the one in charge of unbalancing the game so nothing is lost there. Besides, it will only be for a short time anyway so I don't see the issue.

I'm not the last to [edited]and moan about a lot of things in this game but come on, this hurts nobody.

EDIT: I was hoping for old arty mechanics though

It's possible to put restrictions on the use of the horn but not on map pinging?

Literally noone:...

WG: Let's add honks in the game, that will make them forget about wheeled vehicles, arty and map imbalance.

The decision making  for allocating resources in WG is astonishing.

Correct  Personally I can't wait to have fun with this feature. Enjoying some light-hearted fun is fine even for the most serious people, especially if the occasion for it is a 10 year anniversary celebration. :P

Historically accurate is what is "fun" for me. That said, I'm off to see how rare or absent this was on historical WOT vehicles.
