For the first time in years I'm running out of credit reserves. Why is that? Is this a new policy of WG? I still get flooded with other reserves.

OP tanks, the +2 matchmaking and the growing lack of weak spots, esp. in Russian tanks, forces you to use gold ammo. Credit boosters helped to keep your credit income in balance.

I think WG are selling them for gold, in a bundle for the Berlin event.

WG new strategy revolves around silver economy; Black Market, bounty equipment, 2-week Top of the Tree, etc all drain the silver from your account so people have to buy premium time and or buy & play Tier 8 premium tanks.

I thought credit boosters have always been the rarest type of booster. As Undutchable said SIlver is the far more important currency than XP (perosnally I shoudl stop firing gold all over the place but wheres the fun in that?)

Even with premium time you still loose credits.

This is my experience also. I have few credit boosters left. WG probably found they gave away too much silver.

I recently had to sell a few hundred premium consumables to finance my gold spam :hiding:

Depends what you're doing with it really. If you're playing Tier X, firing plenty of Gold and not hitting most of the shots, then certainly you're gonna end up losing credits. If that's an issue, drop tiers and play something where Gold is less necessary, spam Frontline next episode or something.

AFAIK There's multiple credit boosters purchasable through the Road to Berlin stuff, if you have the Gold to spare.

I mainly avoid Tier X, I find it unbearable with all the Tier 11 and 12 tanks and mostly 3 arties on each side. I prefer Tiers 8 and 9, I do not fire plenty of gold and hit most of my shots.

Still, the power and armor creep and RNG require you to tap the 2 key to inflict damage.

I will check the Berlin shop. Though, previously we didn't have to pay for credit boosters.

Strange. The only time I lose credits in a tier 8 is if I die with only 1 or 2 shots. Even in my Skorpion G firing full gold I still make lots of credits. Tier 9 is the point where you begin to lose credits for poor performance, and tier 10 is a credit sink on a loss even with decent performances.

Then the WG sun shines on you. Be happy. I don't think my Tier 9 & 8 performance is bad, check https://wot-life.com/eu/player/torloisk-509827775/

Oh - it is OK when you are one of the arties (and focus the Tier 11 and 12 tanks)

It seems that WG are attempting to drain the in-game credit reserves in an attempt to return to a more credit-limited economy since the game is now less xp-limited.

My cynical side says WG thinks that by making the exp. part of the equation much easier they are dangling the carrot of how can I generate more credits.

I have comparable stats, hit even fewer shots, but frequently invest 2 Million credits to train crew, since I have lots of silver.

Therefore I guess u just shoot premium shells way more often than necessary.

Not comparable ... you play at least one tier lower than me, your average tier is 2,5 tiers below mine.

Credits are really not a problem if you don’t grind up new tech trees. In these last Frontline stages I grinded over 60M, but with all the discounts, ranked and several tier 10’s later I’m again almost out of credits. :P Can’t wait for next Frontline...
