Seems like something new...but it's greyed out - can't enable or disable it.

The next anniversary anomaly will add horns you can play pressing the k key.

Considering someone may not like it, WG added a button to disable it.

Remember a few weeks ago we had all chat in randoms? Well, this is the thing for next 10-year anniversary stage. You can honk your horn... on your tank. Sound is dependent on weight.

So if you feel the current limit on usage is too high. You can turn it off. As I suspect the drive out of cap for anyone whit a headset on will be insane.

Well, I guess the French race cars could use horns to turn this tank game into a complete circus.

At least they'll be true cars for a week or so. :hiding:

Imagine someone focusing on the game and sniping in a real important situation and you'll press the horn with a Maus.

I would rather not imagine that, let alone witness that.

Since WG said there would not be "disable arty" option, and since WG really cares about players' opinion a lot

Horn is the internal nick name of Arty I guess.

This must be a leak

So how is that relevant to WoT in any way? I don't remember horns ever being in WoT.

From what it's said in the article, they planned the idea of adding horns but scrapped it after the first iteration on common test.

It'll be nice to give a teammate a friendly 'honk honk' to move. Better than shoving them over a bit to get in the same bush.

I'd  rather have 3 red arty in all my games, then 3 "regular" tanks. Now tell me how you get hit every 20 seconds on Paris, Himmelsdorf, or the beach on Overlord.

All of this is the history of things that didn't.

The biggest problem is that WG thought this would be amusing

I mean picture yourself in the meeting and the 17yo intern meekly sticks his hand up and says...........

Literally every single player (who fits into the 50% category) is, after the 1st game, going to find this magical button in the settings and revert to type.

Meanwhile in WG HQ " oh the laughs, how funny [honk honk]" lol.
