Hi.

VK 75.01 is super heavy tank. What WG think super heavy must do? It seems they think I must scout on it or sitting in a bush like TD.

But obviously, they don't think I must go to close combat on it. Because only dead brain idiot make super heavy tank to close combat with absolutely weak turret and completely weak hatch! That turret we have on VK 75.01,btw on Maus too. Maus is a scout that need stay third line, because of its weak turret and low gold penetration. VK 75.01 is the same. I thought it must go to close combat and get shoots instead team mates. But that is not what WG think about super heavy tanks. Shame on me , what mistake I did. 150 mm hatch. About what close combat I thought. It slow turns left right ,has slow forward speed. Close combat lol. IT IS SCOUIT!!! Like Maus. Renegade or AMX M4 mle. 49 Liberté better for close combat, even though they have weaker hatch. We can relay only on they speed.

Only thing that i don't understand here is a VK 100, it is really good for close combat . It has 200 mm hatch. it is not perfect but is a good enough for enemy it faces.

Please dear WG make VK 100 hatch weak like VK 75 one. I wanna go scout on my VK 100.

Why do players buy heavy tanks and expect them to fast nimble and have god like armour? And then we have same players whining about being gold spammed or the tank against them has god like armour...

Armour is a hindrance in current meta unless a tank has an obscene amount of it. You either go full armour tanks or you go no armor, anything in-between is a waste of speed and hp/t

VK7501 is difficult because it is very positional. Rear turret means almost 0 depression and a one sided turret means left hand corners only.

Also, a slow reload means it can get rushed too so be on your toes and stay aware of your nearby allies.

It's not a great premium. I'd suggest the Lowe over a the VK if you want a tier 8 German premium heavy.

I agree with OP, it was very unreasonable for WG to sell him a balanced tank with viable weakspots without giving him fair warning that smart players might actually take advantage of that and his dreams of roflstomping the enemy may not pan out.

I am not sure I follow the logic of something slow being meant to be used as a scout, but I'd reccomand you to try out the VK 100 if you like pressing W or hitting R three times and pretend you're good at the game, while a lot of tanks will bounce off of you.

Vk7501 aint a bad tank but you need the right maps (city maps)

on the city parts the tank is good (if you know to side scrape.

But avoid hilly terrain due to the turret is mounted on the back of the tank

Because you have to go over the hill to aim/fire  (and at that point every experienced player will track or shoot your lower plate.

Tanks with turrets in the back is a learning curve

Why do people get heavy armored tanks, who are slow in nature & expect them to be nimble & impenetrable in about any circumstance...

Heavy armored tanks are situational by their design. They can't operate everywhere efficiently, mostly to their (lack of) speed & mobility. Instead you have to check the map & see where you can use your armor the best. A tank like the VK 75.01 will shine in sutations with hard cover, as the rear turret offers a great advantage in minimizing your exposure. To add to this, the tank has great alpha, reducing the need to expose even less. Add to this that the prem ammo is APCR. While the pen value isn't as high as others at the tier, it is still pretty decent, considering APCR is a very good ammo type & it is a high alpha shell on this tank.

Heavy armored tanks also have to adapt their role based on the tier placement in a match & are often team dependent due to their lack of speed & other drawbacks (lack of camo causes them to be often spotted & shot first)

Toptier (as in no tiers above you); You are the meanest, toughest tank on the battlefield, get in the front & make the enemy regret dealing with you.

Midtier (There's tanks a tier higher in the match); You're still pretty tough, but more care is needed. Watch out for TD's, especially higher tier ones. Support higher tier HT's if you can.

Bottomtier (there's tanks two tiers higher in the match); You're support. help your higher tier HT's out by preventing easy flanking to your team by either positioning or presence.

No matter what tier tho: Don't go alone, heavy armored tanks live & die by their support.

Keep in mind: Armored tanks are situational, respect that. If you don't; you die. If you do; glory to you & your team.

Playtime's over. You had your fun with my team, now my Maus has come to play with you.

Its just a very situational tank. thats the problem. like an emil1, godlike when hulldown but its gun is crap. this tanks good at corners but the aimtime kills it and the roofs garbage with a cupola weakspot.

Uh, is OP angry because he thinks VK 75.01 is weak (it's not, it's just not overpowered) or is he ranting about light tanks? I see the word "scouting" pop up a lot.

I mean the second you see its a back turreted tank you know it cant be OP. coz that alone cripples a tank.
