Ok someone had already made a topic about it and I thought it was tanks.gg's fault but apparently the in-game armor inspector mod which gets the data from the client shows the same.

So basically, VK 72.01 K's side (the belt under the turret) was changed to 300 mm and now it is back to 180 mm?

https://tanks.gg/v10...k/model?vm=live (1.8, same as 1.9) -180 mm ring

https://tanks.gg/v10...k/model?vm=live (1.7.1) - 300m ring

and the in-game inspector is showing the same:

so if this is a bug i apologise to WG but if it's not then I don't think it's fair to nerf CW rewards like this. (I don't have this tank so it's not my problem, but for others it is theirs)

It is not a premium tank, thus is can be nerfed and buffed as Wargaming sees fit...

And mind you, they're also considering whether or not to nerf the T95/FV4201 and Obyekt 726 (clanwar/campaign reward, resp.).

apart that the armor is not nerfed at all. the 1.7.1 model (and bunch patches before) was never correct in tanks.gg. the correct model is the one shown in 1.8 for tanks.gg which was the armor layout for ages and quite untouched

Old tanks gg also showed the lower plate as 200 mm effective when it actually was 250

Highlighted the important part.

Tbh I don't see that happening, I expect them to keep postponing it till the powercreep renders it pointless.

Well to be perfectly honest, it was really weird that VK 72.01 and Pz VII have completely different armor layout even though both tanks have the same chassis. But yea, I don't remember seeing anything in the patch notes.

because the model didnt change INGAME, it always had the pz7 chassis with same armor values since the "split". since then the vk k got minor armor buffs at mantlet. the tanks.gg model been wrong for ages and plain "fake"

Totally wrong dude. They even admitted that they made them OP on purpose. They also said that there are no plans at all to nerf these tanks, as people worked hard to get them.
