I like wot(well i did once),I dont like 1st person shooters or things that make me jump.I enjoyed armoured warfare till the russkis ruined that, could`nt get on with warthunder.

Need something tankie to play as this game is making me angry/frustrated so i need a break for a bit.

I am a simple(minded?) old codger

Any suggestions-f2p only as i know you younger chaps play a lot of different games.

Cheers

Try World of Warships.

Its more or less the same principles as WoT, but slower gameplay (ironically, it plays at the speed of a realistic tank battle, whereas WoT plays more like a kiddies first person shooter).

World of Snoreships..... tbh the market is pretty limited hence the reason WG get away with the stuff they do.

Try No Mans Sky. I got mine recently from cdkeys & added to my steam library. It is really enjoyable to play. It's normally £39.99 but cdkeys have it on offer for £15.99.

Move on to World Of Tanks Blitz, if you want some easy to pick up tank fun!!! (available on steam)

Less frustrating as it is easier to carry in it and more intensive battles (7v7 and smaller maps which are actually well designed), progression is way faster (there are more boosters) and we are getting exclusive tanks like the Japanese TDs and the British Lights (these aren't copies of the pc version, these are actually worth something hahaha)

Either a total war game, although it's not tankie based, or company of heroes.  That should be dirt cheap at the moment.

Download and check out valves steam.

What what

Well, if you don't mind the arcade gameplay, I suppose that Tanki Online is an option...

Tanki Online is a hot garbage, do not try it, the p2w aspect there is a thousand times worse than in any other games.

ArmA (Armed Assault) might be a 1st/3rd person game, but it still has tanks.

Other than that, there's a few copycats out there, but they have the same issue as with Tanki Online. Massively P2W. I could maybe suggest Medal of War: Assault Squad 2 - It's a strategy game, but you can take the control of any of your units if you wish to do so.

If you don't mind older games, get dosbox and download on of thousand dos games on abandonware sites, others are available for damn cheap on gog.com or steam.

Currently playing ufo: enem unknown, master of magic and colonization on my phone while traveling. (granted non of those are abandonware)

Here are some war orientated games I suggest:

- Arma 3

- R.U.S.E.

- Men of War: Assault Squad 2

- Company of Heroes 2

- Supreme Commander 2

- Post Scriptum

- Halo Wars

- Planetside 2

- Red Orchestra 2
