The requirement for progressing through the missions for tokens is simple - finish in the top 10 by xp, win or lose.

If you want to get one of the tanks from the final stage, you need 120 tokens per day. This means mandatory 10 battles, or even 20 if you miss some days.

This is of course perfect for light tanks YOLOing other lights, dealing some damage or even killing them...which will set you up in the top 10 most of the time.

I've been playing like said YOLOmuppet because the mission is incredibly grindy...you only get tokens every 10th match.

It's annoying, and my team often hates me. But I don't blame myself, or them.

I don't believe I'm the only one doing this, either. So, imagine what the matches are like because of this. Just imagine.

Poorly designed, exploitable missions...negatively affecting gameplay... Why can't the requirement have been something like; 2000 damage dealt, assisted and blocked in total? Or 3 kills?

It just seems bad...

Of course you could argue the negatively affected gameplay is entirely the players' fault for playing like this, and you'd be right, but I've got other things to do, too. So, YOLO-mode it is.

Dont like your style.

But if they increase the requirments you get the opposite reaction where nobody wants to do anything and will be camping the whole game.

And WG dose not want that.tehy want fast games.

Missions are designed in a way to encourage people to spend money. I've been trying to track 3 diff tanks in 1 battle all day & this game just wont let it happen, even when its point blank.

And how would spending money change that, besides the fact those missions have 0 to do with tankrewards?

Did that one first game in the t49 with derp, it’s not hard if you pick the right tank.

Considering tracks are the only module to take damage 100% of the time. You either miss, or have to low module alpha vs their track HP. ROF or a bigger gun.

That said, I did that on the first go with a tier X arty. I know others did it with the KV-2.

You dont have to be a loser just because you are being given a easy way to be one.

The event is a month long, you can get 2500 of the required 3000 points simply by logging in, clicking battle and then going and taking a piss. That leaves you min six days where you actually have to put in some effort and play the 30 battles at tier 9 to get the 90 points. So you're talking 2-3 hours.

If you can't organise your life better over a month to find the time to get it done because of work then put your hand in your pocket and just buy the thing if you want it but otherwise there's really no excuse for playing like a potato to try and get it done and messing up other peoples games.

Y tho...? I don't think any of the tanks offered is good enough to justify wasting about a hour per day on bot-level gameplay.

The missions for tank rewards have been very boring over the last months tbh. So boring that I stopped grinding. I still try to do the daily for 100 points and second-to-last tier rewards in the end, but at this point I do not care if I get a tank or not.

These missions need a serious rework imo..  (just in case anyone from WG sees this post: no, blocking and stunning missions are NOT ok)

This might be the first month that I DON'T get all the tankrewards prizes. But frankly, if I get it, it's fine, if I don't it's ok. Still hoping we might have a 200-300 points mission one of these days.

Have been trying for two days, was advised to try Arty (stock Hummel with Bounty kit & Rammer Directive) - did it second game (Kharkov Tier VII/VIII) - needed a shower after :amazed:

PS: the mission is "destroy" 3 tracks not just damage them.

yup. No need to yolo. Decided this would be a good time to combine Tank Rewards with doing the T-55 SPG missions in the M53/55. Pot of coffee, packet of cookies, headphones with some chill music instead of game sound.

Click. Sip. Munch.

Click. Sip. Munch.

Click. Sip. Munch. Pee.

Click. Sip. Munch.

did that a few leisurely afternoons and I’ve done them all except the “honors” bit on SP:15.

Only need to do my daily single battle now to get the tier V reward. No stress, no fuss.

Your WoT life gets so much more relaxed if you simply stop hating Arty.

Because then we would get masses complaining that the missions are too hard. It's a situation where WG just can't win no matter what they do.

You are wrong, but sure, keep thinking your're right if it makes you feel better.

It wouldn't be such a mindless requirement as the current one. You'd have to contribute positively to the team's chances of winning. You wouldn't have to do it 10 times to progress, but maybe 5 times or so. Yes, slighty harder, more meaningful missions, but shorter.

You're not. My own style of playing like a muppet is to press the forward key in a Tortiose and punch in the face whatever gets in the way.

Quite sad that criticising toxic behaviour around the game is discouraged and shamed so hard on these forums... Is there a reason why you specifically do this?

Yes I agree there would be more to do with the game with such missions. I wanted to just point out that whatever they do, they will get negativity. So it seems they went with the more mass appealing type of missions, the ''just play the game normally and most likely you will be rewarded''.
