Heyo :)

just asking if some one here knows that what graphic select to get that classic 2012-2014 look?

i would prefer to have it done via graphic settings and not by a mod because i am reaaally bad with mods. even tho i know they would help me alot (like the MoE tracker thing that some use) but so far i've had several issues of this game and others not working right and crashes, updates, how to delete it and all that.

you can suggest a mod that does this but i would prefer to get the old look into the game by mixing with the graphic settings.

Standard with more or less the lowest settings does the trick.... or gets you close.

iirc setting lighting quality to minimum is what I believe you are looking for

I really miss the vibe of the old graphics, the entire feel was definitely different. Maps are way too detailed nowadays and I spend too much time making screenshots instead of playing the game :hiding:

Wait for another WoT Classic event. The smoke for gun shots in the old graphics lingered in the air much longer then now.

well I tried to find a video illustrating my point but the quality is so bad in every single one. Either sub 30 fps or less than 480p. :teethhappy:

nvm

I've turned to SD graphics as well recently, and I do seem to be playing better...

Pretty graphics serve no good purpose, other than to distract you.

There are different color filter options on the right side of the main graphics tab...try playing around with those. I think the "Deep" preset might be the one you're looking for.

Two easy ways to get darker graphics:

1. Tune your monitor to get a darker screen. However if you don't like to mess with it because you usd the pc for other stuff as well, see 2.

2. Wear sunglasses while playing

Why do the sounds sound better, and the graphics seem more atmospheric and immersive? I want to play that game please...

Nowadays people marry game characters, identify as a deer, fluffy unicorn and all this other nonsense... Will probably make for interesting divorce cases, who gets the barn and is there a grazing schedule negotiated.

I'd take the old graphics and sounds any day over current wot. :)

I like the new graphics, it's just that they don't fit WoT at all. I really wish that picking SD just made the game the way it looked before 1.0

Me too.

They had some punch to them.

I also hate the sound of tracks on most tanks while driving.

It sounds like they are made of plastic. (Like shoping cart wheels).

Not like a multi ton killing machine
