Hi folks, me again :D

I have another request for a 3D skin. This time for the Jagdpanzer IV. I hope that grumpf44 and Wollolo can help again :hiding:

My idea based on this historical photo:

Therefore my ideas to the 3D elements are:

- Remove of the side skirts (the arresting points can stay)
- add some scrubs on the side and front of the tank who get hold by a tow rope and some knits
- add on top of the engine section a lot stuff like gasoline
canisters, bags, backpacks, steel helmets, rolled up plans and maybe even a barrel like on the photo is seable

- maybe also add a camouflage net who is wraped around the gun barrel like by this E75TS skin who is on the Asian Servers --> https://i2.wp.com/thedailybounce.net/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/E-75-TS-1.jpg?fit=2560%2C1440&ssl=1

To the skin part i would say we take this time something relative simple. Romodel shall be this:

I hope this skin works out as fine as the E50 one ^^

In this sense, greetings :honoring:

Not yet, other projects on the bench...

I have also problems with the nets on the gun, as they require color weighting and I have big troubles with the weighting...

(Note on your picture the 1st wheel is full metal. Interisting, notable also is the fact it should be the 2 wheels of the trolley. But to change the wheels requires color weighting :( )

Well, dont need to be finished tomorrow ;) ... as i wrote, take your time :) ... just would be cool when this happens

And about the wheel, i guess they exchanged it in a field workshop and had just a wheel with rubber instead of a full metal one. But this you dont need to do at all, if you dont want to do it ... dosnt need to be a 1 to 1 copy of the photo ;)

Edit: It's for example also a question if this works out with the removed side skirts, because i cant see at all on the standard model if Wargaming even modeled the support wheels who carry the tracks or if they let this away because it's theoretical not seable behind the skirts ...

Ah, good, the 3 support wheels exist in the model, so this theme is no problem :)

This model could be even a good basic... need just to ad the national insignia on the side covers of the engine compartment (like you see on the photo and on the drawing, there the crews of the Japgpanzer IV normaly add it) as well as the 3D stuff on the engine top and the scrubs camo

Yeah, let's see what Wollolo say ^^ and btw, you should try to write here in English, that everyone can understand it ;)

But basicly this model already would the perfect basic where the half work is already done. Would help grumpf44 a lot i guess ^^

Oh, whos remodel is this then? :D

But i mean, this adds of track parts also looks amazing and it gives even a arresting point for the tow rope ;) ... and it is exacty the color scheme i proposed ^^

So, would you be in Wollolo? Make the textures for it when grumpf44 find the time and solutions to make the remodel? Would like to have there the same style like by the E50 ;)

make the gunner sight part of the gun model while you are at it.

Moin zusammen,

ich hatte ja auch geschrieben (ich glaube von Wollolo ) die Datei ist schon etwas älter.

Ich hatte gestern nochmal nach dem Download in meinen gesicherten Dateien gesucht aber nichts mehr gefunden :-(

Sorry.

i mean the gunner periscope sight together with the covering plate on the curved rail is supposed to pivot with the gun.

Luckily jgpanzerIV's roof is flat so it's very easy to achieve. just remove these geometry from hull and attach them to the mantlet so they can rotate together.

Should be possible... the questions are just if grumpf44 has the nerve to do it and if the model of Wargaming is accurate enough that the radius of the sight rail fits to the pivot point of the gun

Since I did it when I was working on the UUP, I can tell you that it fits ~99% of the way, if memory serves me well.

and I'm pretty sure it's not a toilet in the photo.
