Hello,

Recently I have been buying my friends and clan mates gifts, but every singe time it takes ages for them to work out how to accept it

why can't they just get an in game message instead?

They reworked how notifications on gifts are a few years back. As then you even got a notification via the bell on the forum that took you directly to the gift page. Now you should get an email, and the notification is only in the premium store in the "gifts" section on top there. Not the forum or portal via the bell.

So yeah, after they reworked that. It took me over 30 min to find that new button the first time to get my gift. So I don't doubt others will struggle with it the first time. It's one of those bad taste UI fixes WG has done of late.

I liked gifting people stuff (i.e Gold for the Tier III Bundle for Road to Berlin) without telling them, because the reaction was quite fun. Having to actually tell them in advance that they need to go check the Premium shop is not as fun. :(

Pretty sure you're supposed to get a notification bottom-right when you get a gift in WoT...

Maybe people don't check those?
