This tank should be able to move when a one track is damage, albeit at a reduced efficiency.

Otherwise I feel like tank is pretty meh. I regret getting it.

The Obj 777 seems a lot better thx to hidden russian stats. The few I saw were very trollish and small like the LT-432.

...

It's on the portal that the tracks don't have any gameplay consequences. Added to that the AE has been in the game for quite a while now, with ample information to be found, so I'm not sure how you managed to be surprised.

The Obj 777 is flat. That shouldn't be a surprise. It's armor is sloped and will troll bounce. Reviews show reliably against lower tiers and badly aimed same tiers, and paper against everything else.

While I don't consider it beyond WG to buff the Obj 777 at some point, right now it's the weakest of the three and the one with the least character and uniqueness.

ditto :-( of course it could be RNG effing me over with teams with less intelligence than one of my famously large turds but of course it is most likely me being shite as usual...but dont like this tanku at all  :-)

What prohibited you from simply just looking the tank up before you chose it?

It shocks me that people still do that. Meanwhile leading up to this episode I've been looking at tanks.gg constantly regarding my Char Futur 4 Set-up, I've been looking up any videos on it when available (such as Skill's videos on it) and even watching a replay or two prior to actually purchasing it myself; all this while I actually already owned the AE Phase I, and hadn't the slightest interest in the 777 II, so regardless of how the vehicle actually was I was still gonna pick it.

AFAIK, the Phase I First appeared back in early September (according to this page), so it's plenty of damn time to have looked into it even before this FL Season. Imagine the poor sods who actually grinded the hell that was last season considering that up until Episode 8, we didn't even know what tank we were grinding towards.

Would of been a cool feature if you could still move with 3/4 tracks still working, rather than counting as just one track down the side, at least it would be actually unque in play style a bit then.

I will get it first as I lack Amie HTs and HTs in general.

No interest in the russian as few things top the Defender, let alone at Tier VIII while the baguette futur can wait as I have the Lorraine back at Tier VIII.

It's phisycally impossible for a tank i think.

So is the consensus that we go for the char 4 as the better tank then?

Who knows, maybe it will get something extra in the future. Like the STB-1 that got updated with a hydro suspension for example.

Would always be cool to have something unique with it, but I really can't think of anything.

Maybe it could have a faster repair speed? Oh wait, it does already get that.

But being able to move with a broken track makes no sense, even if this tank has 4 sets of tracks.

You wouldn't want WG doing the same with the 279, now would you?

You mean physically impossible like cramming two 122mm cannons into a IS3-turret? Remember - this is WoT, not reality....

If only Wargaming had an in-client Test Drive function.

But that would probably be too hard to implement, hence no tank game has it.

Yes. AE for mediocre heavy, 777 for meh heavy and Char for burst clip and great mobility.

It's just an uglier and worse Conqueror. That's known since last year already. That's also the reason why you (almost) never see it on the battlefield.

Char Futur is the tank I'd choose.

They are tracks not wheels and once your tracks is inflated you can not move.

Play an EBR.

No matter how many tire were shot, the EBR is still able to move.

Yes, Wargaming magic is best magic.

Penn and Teller will retire now.

We did know which one it would be before we got a chance of actually having it which was, indeed, on the episode 8 (due to the "current episode + 2" limit).

T95 has 4 tracks.

Obj. 279 has 4 tracks.

Does it still sound like a good idea?

I meant it more as in, I know some folks who were grinding it a lot until the tank was revealed and then decided eh, it wasn't worth it for "just some American Conqueror". :P
