Hey!

...I mean, I already researched T-10 but that useless gun is still a kind of a grind to do to fin out.

So, will IS-3 becom elite after researching all the modules and only T-10?

Tanks become elite once you researched everything.

What happens when it is for instance the same gun that is available on two tiers? It should unlock if you research it on either one of those tanks, shouldn't it?

It will, but that's not what the OP is talking about.

He's wondering if the IS-3 will become Elite without researching the Object diverging from it.

The answer is no.

Elite means you have nothing more to research on the tank. Thus nothing to spend XP on. So you can send it to the crew or to the tank. The only way to do that with stuff still to research is if WG added a new tank line AFTER you elited it.

That's childish.

It would be unfair if it only applied to you.

And it does. Try unlocking E5 by just unlocking M103's engine and nothing else. Boom, you've just saved yourself a 60k XP grind.

Before you possibly bring up guns that are present in different nations, those are considered different guns in what WoT is concerned.
