I am playing this game over years and I see that WG is very loyal against rule breakers.

Yesterday we read on portal that they gave over 3K warning for cheaters!

Do you realize what they did? They are taking actions once in year and giving only warnings!

So from about 60-70K online players there are about 5% cheaters every time, This means that in every single battle we are playing with cheaters.

WG need to find them year, and give them just warning!

So this thread is not about cheaters.

My win rate is today 33%, This is very high rate really, not joking.

Every single time, I mean in every single battle there is min 1 AFK player.

In the worst cases, there is 1 afk and 1 tank is doing suicide in first minute after the battle starts.

No, I don't mean suicide to rush enemy or doing something, But they are drowing in water and jumping from the cliffs!

I had 2 case today when one tank was base AFK and one just died.

Just come out from battle where 1 AFK was staning in base whole game.

No, I am not talking about tier 2-3, I am talking about tier 7-10

I think that rules and actions must be stronger.

This game is very unbalance now. Wheeled cars, Gold bullets, every second tank is autoloader or have 2 guns, Maps are unbalanced

And after all this We have 1-2 afkers in team every time.

What WG thinks about?

Or you could read the article properly where it states:

"1,266 have been banned permanently."

But yeah, reading is hard..

You assume that what you call AFK players are actually idle, or cheating. Normally, in fact they are people who for one reason or another are unable to conect, stay connected or are disconected against their will and inclinations. YOU may feel anoyed/frustrated, but that is nothing to what they are feeling.

Yeah 25% got banned 75% got warning. I read everything fine and leaving in game 3K cheaters and announcing it that they only got warning is really great thing to add more cheaters in game who have 1 chance before they will be found.

This 1266 banned where about 2-3 second time found at least who got banned.

Cmon I said I am in game over years so I know that every battle with few afkers or bots are not caused from network connection.

Look at my last battle result. These 2 players were in my time, 1 bot 1 afk

Game lost.

And you say its normal in every game? Do you want to see my 15 replays which recorded today? I am ready to upload

So much wrongness. The active player base is much larger than the number of players online at any one time. Redo your estimates taking that into account.

Assuming that you don't AFK or suicide your win-rate will go up not down because of players that do.

Well, I have loads of games.

The number of times I have been actual AFK is a tiny handfull, maybe 2 or 3 work phone calls, 2 genuine family medical emergencies and a couple of other good reasons.
In addition I have maybe lost another handful due to hardwear problems..mouse failure and such.

Compare that to many hundreds of disconects/failures to connect or game crashes...

How about announce that cheaters getting warned first? Is this normal?

Does anybody  think about it? So players now can try to cheat and get warned if found? Are you kidding me?

It's called giving people a second chance.

No, it doesn't.

For starters, all those getting a warning also get a 14-day "vacation".

Secondly, have you considered people make mistakes? Sure, it's easy to simply assume they are all guilty and they were all cheating, but that's not necessarily so, and you shouldn't really be that closed-minded. Some people may install a bad modpack and not even realize something is wrong, so, yeah, they should get a second chance.

First warnning is a 7 days ban which is fair enough time to rethink and uninstall cheats.

Next ban is permanent.

While I agree that cracking down on cheaters, AFKers/bots etc. hard is necessary, this math doesn't make sense. They banned a number of players from the total playerbase, there is absolutely no indication that these cheaters were in-game 24/7. You can't compare the number of total banned cheaters to average online players.

Actually, it's about every 3 months vs once a year. As they make the list as they work on it. And with no warning they clear that list at the same time, vs doing one by one as they find them.

So this thread is not about cheaters.

Thing is, the AFK/idle or leave early system is automated. So doing it one time won't punish anyone. And that's just it. For each AFK you see, you have zero clue if he has done it a few times, or if that was his first that day, or even the only one at all. I had one a few days ago. Pressed battle, the phone rang and I had to run during the countdown as a top tier medium. Came back later with 5 PM's in the garage raging about botting etc, and ofc we lost. And that's just it. Life can happen, thus WG should have some leeway on it.

As atm, you can go afk 3 games in a row or over a short period, and only get a warning. Do 5 times and you get a last warning and zero XP. Then it's 1 or 2 more games before the temp ban hits. Now many have argued that 5 is way too nice for such a system for it to make any impact. And it should react way faster. But WG seems... content with it. As they have not changed it since they added it 7 years ago, as a response to all the Lowe idle farmers back in the day.

Clearly I don't know why anyone is AFK but in my case I have had failed to load beyond  the start screen every now and again. I have to close and restart the game by which time the rest of the team has moved off.

I join in as soon as I can rejoin but does that make me a cheater or not caring about AFK?

OP, things sometimes happen beyond your control.

I was AFK my last frontline battle for 80% of time as I only needed 300 points and I was making dinner (linguine with bell pepper and garlic based sauce - not too much hassle, but that linguine needs to be al dente and that sauce cannot burn).

I finished 5th in xp and had 9k combined damage.
