Not sure how, but seem to have acquired the necessary bonds to buy one of them t8 prems, so was wondering which one to get. I already have a T34 (was a mistake, but there you go) and a Skorp. I'm mostly after a good credit maker, but possibly also a crew trainer. I quite like the look of the leopard line, so I'm erring towards the Mutz, but it's not one that generally fills me with dread when I face it. Not really looked into the French line before, but the tank looks good on paper. Then again the T26 is a bit of a known quantity to me, having a T110E5 and the M46, so could just go with the safe option.

The 8k bonds price tag tanks is your limit or can stretch for the pricier ones too?

8k right now (think I have 8061), is it worth waiting for the T 10 ones?

Patriot is propably the best one, Mutz is 240 alpha medium like everything on tier 8, those are boring.

Also wondering what's interesting here, they don't seem to be talked much. Guard possibly - as an alternative to the T-54/44 premiums? How would it compare (if at all)?

Guard/STG is a bad DPM TD with a turret and medium HP. It's not good, but not terrible either.

Patriot is probably the best, but its alpha damage is power creeped.

Well you're doing the right thing checking them out and definitely take your time since bonds don't rain on you.... then don't rain on me either btw, some guys have stacks. The Patriot used to be a really strong T8 once upon a time but for me the game has moved away from T8 heavy tanks with such a low alpha single shot gun. Sure, you can do good things with it but everything seems to be chucking around bigger alpha these days or magazines that hide other tanks true alpha potential albeit burst damage but still, 240 alpha seems a bit lame to me. When the game becomes trading 1 for 1, it's just losing those all day long isn't it. Peak forward, shoot a T30 for 240 and eat 750 in return ok ok I was dramatizing but you get my point lol. The STG can be bought cheaply for cash so that seems like a waste tbh.

I won't lie, for purely irrational reasons I really fancy the 215b, mebbe I should just keep grinding and seeing how many I can get. Seem to have got about 3000 in the 6 weeks I've been back playing, guess there's events on dishing them out.

"Soon" there will be a bond shop update. Probably worth to wait spending your bonds.

I'd say Liberté (AMX M4 '49)
because it's french. :girl:

The Patriot is said to be good too.
I have it in garage but can't remember playing it to be honest.

I tried the m4 49 with the frontlines personality test some months ago. Holy Molly batman, this tank is good. The front armor is sick when angled properly, the gun hurts, it pens relatively well, while the turret is sturdy. Add a -10 depression and you have here a pretty polyvalent heavy tank, like a buff tiger 2.

Consider buying your fantasy premium tank with cash and use bonds on optics for your most and absolutely loved tanks.

The good thing about patriot - its turret is very very very bouncy. Meds hate that thing with a passion.

That thing basically is a medium heavy tank, a hybrid.

It is quite badly armored, but side shots often do not damage, because the profile below tracks seems like there is tank there. But it is not.

It is nice and a good money maker, because it has enough penetration.

But it is more like a faster TD with turret. It is definetly were sluggish for a MT.

I would say Patriot is the best choice.

While Super Pershing is a heavy which is called a Medium, Patriot is a strongly armored Medium, which is called a heavy.
