Assuming the new equipment is brought to us "as-is" when it hits the live servers, which pure scouting build you would run on Tier X LTs?

Like the T-100 LT (which has a good base camo) and the AMX 13 105 (pocket Batchat)?

I can see two phylosophies emerging for scouts (active and passive):

Active:

Low Noise Exhaust System + Jammer + Optics

Passive:

Commander's VS + Panoramic Triplex + Improved Radio

But as they said on the video, it really offers quite a bit of possibilites. I predict the CW meta will change a lot. A 4th slot for higher tiers doesn't sound that much of a bad idea... but that would be greedy. :)

We still need to learn what kind of equipment slots LTs will have to determine wether those kind of builds are worth it.

Ah. That's true. Didn't think of that. Perhaps it is a bit premature...

I guess, this time, I'll DL the sandbox client.

I'd get the ones that improve spotted times. Means more time for team to shoot enemies if your teammates are particularly slow (not mobility wise :teethhappy:)

Assuming the equipment changes come before the crew changes and with a combination of crew skills /directives and that particular equipment we are talking about 20 seconds of spotting assuming the enemies dont use the jammer.

There is nothing wrong with theorycrafting but it seems that the vehicles that will have both equipment slots to their own specialization (like the Maus) will be rare. Most will be like the I27 or the BC with one being something like mobility/scouting or mibility/firepower.So builds like the 2 you proposed will not be that viable.

Naturally you pick 2nd and 3rd equipment from the list.

Ask WG for more details.

Well, it's still early. Some of that equipment stat % might be nerfed, or buffed to change my mind about it. But as it stands now. As a light player, I'm kinda looking forward to this. As it creates great passive scouts builds as well as active. Heck, you can even have builds to counter passive scouts. Making wheels a bit stronger on their pass IF they have it. I already have ideas for hybrid builds on even my meds I use as scouts in a +2 like the Swedish Leo.

But... if anything it might make those "How did I get spotted" topics a bit harder to explain with just view range and camo to see if he should have been spotter or not there.
