Hi, I play on trash PC, I'm happy if I had just 2 crashes a day. Tonight I chased 2nd mark on Crom B and the last battle is there, I'm top tier. Needed just 1%, making 3k dmg and guess what, 10 seconds before battle ends my game crashes and whole battle progress is removed. Now after 7 years of playing it is just a matter of time when I will be banned for "DESERTING".

You're blaming the game for having a potato PC?

Now I've seen everything.

Btw your battle's progress shouldn't have been..."removed". Just because your game crashed during a battle doesn't mean that battle stopped for the other players. It still finishes. You just didn't make any progress with the marks in that battle, that's all.

You won't get banned if your game crashes, but it could happen if someone reports you for it...

Do you know your PC's hardware specifications? It might be possible to solve the crashing in a simple way, but it depends...

Surely you can reconnect within the 2 minute window though, right?

At least tell us some basic details about the PC...

3gig of ram is really low, hope you have at least a decent sized pagefile.

It is low, but the old laptop I used to play WoT on had only 3GB too. I'm pretty sure it would still work fine even today, if most background tasks were disabled. Although, it was DDR3. OP's got DDR2 (yes?).

If you can find a used DDR2 stick and put it in a free slot, it might solve the issue... However, it might even be the graphics card...

Hnngh...I really want to help, but I'm not good at troubleshooting, I only know how to put PCs together, not much else.

Someone might know though, so knowing the specs is a start at least.

I get used to crashes, but I just don't want to bother with ban cause of deserting and speaking with support. I got my second mark btw.

Why would the game be removed? The stats are server side not on your PC. The game will be logged as you leaving early therefore less exp. But your damage and assist result will be exactly as you left that game

Invest in atleast a € 2000 gaming computer if you are into gaming. Upgrade the computer alteast every 2nd or 3rd year.

Also invest in atleast 300 Mbps connection to avoid lag.

Sorry, but gaming is not what it used to be......

Here's a couple of things to try....

Download latest GPU driver, based on your info the latest driver is from 2016....

Start in 32 bit mode.

Use SD graphics.

Try windowed borderless.

Don't run any background processes.

Min specs to play are right here https://eu.wargaming.../article/10249/

The game due to recent last 2 updates is very unstable. My PC is strong and still the game crashes like crazy. Reinstalled drivers, the game, performed windows restore, the game still crashes. Don't always blame the potato pc for instable game.

I have even crappier PC.

Crashes are not so common, but the game really likes to kick me out often because "connection is lost", but I don't remember ever losing progress.

You may want to monitor CPU load, Memory Usage and if your computer access the harddrive alot.

You may wan't to stop certain services in the task manager that you don't need when playing WOT.

Regardring graphics, try use the mimimum spec... you don't necessarily need to play in HD.

I found that certain wireless equipment (headset, mouse, keyboard) may interfere with computer performance, if you have other equipment in the house that use the same WIFI. Therefore you should install a wireless gaming routher, that offers 2 - 5 different 5g WIFI networks at home.

As an example, bluetooth on your mobile who also access your wireless gaming headset may believe it or not, influence on how your computer runs.

If i get a mobile call to my headset while playing WOT, the CPU load on the computer will go up significantly and indirecty slow the  performance of the game computer (thus any online games I play).

Speed has nothing to do with lag, unless you use dial-up.

Just get a new laptop of PC with a Ryzen 3 3200G and you should be able to run WoT just fine.

You're going to have lag if you use wireless regardless of bandwidth...

5g gaming router with 5 separate WIFI networks helps if you have a big family who all are streaming and play online games :)

Ok, perhaps marginal improvement.. but why settle for anything less these days ? :)
