i was going for British Heavy Line but with the Centurion ax event im gonna try the mediums.

But i have couple questions and i hope people like me will get some tips over here:

- Are the British mediums still competitive to the current Mediums meta '' Russian, Italian,Japanese,Czechoslovakian, and Germans''?

- What Tank is grind friendly as a stock in UK Tree? and which one must be skipped with Blueprints or free EXP?

- and what Tank is worth to be kept in garage even after researching the next one? i have heard many positive things about the Comt for example.

Feel free to add any Tips or Questions if you have some, i appreciate your contribution in advance.

Out of personal experience, I can confirm the Cromwell, Comet and Cent Mk I are all fun and somewhat competitive.

If you talk about random game meta even a is4 with stock gun can do well.

indeed but facing S.Conqueror, the Maus, the 277 or the godlike 279e with stock is4 gun is team disadvantage even in Training Rooms.

Tier 9 is very good, tier 10 is somehow shitty but on some weird way it's doing pretty well.

tier VI - Cromwell - very good in tier VI. Very fast. Gun handling poor. Very enjoyable to play. I kept mine

tier VII - Comet -while not the best tier VII medium, by far from the worst. Decent. I have one in my garage and enjoy it when I play it.

tier VIII - Centurion Mk.1. - I played it prior to the armour buff of the turret. I found it poor. I sold it. Might re-buy as now discounted and has had that buff.

tier IX - Centurion 7/1 - I kept this and created a new crew for it. It is not a meta tank. But it is not the worst tier IX medium, and in some respects the play style is OK and I can get it to work, but there are other better tier IXs.

tier X - Centurion AX - Not the best tier X medium and not quite the worst, but lackluster. When you compare the dpm of the AMX 30 B, M48 Patton and STB-1 you can see why the CAX is a bit sad.

arthurwellsley

Thank you Sir ,, i always loved your contributions in this forum.

sokolicc

indeed, the Tier x kind of weird or it needs extra fine hands. i loved it on the Test server but with the amount of gold ammo on the Common test server i cant trust its turret anymore.

48 Patton or STB-1 just better

''ofc this is my own experience after few battles on the test server and unfortunately its quite hard to test any tank below tier 10 there''

saxsan4 and DaniulSims

Thank you for sharing your experience in this matter.

What Arthur said, though the Centurion 1 is a lot better than it used to be, they buffed the turret armour, the DPM and the top speed so it's a pretty solid tier 8 med, though the alpha and gun handling are still on the lacklustre side (though the solid pen somewhat compensates).

Though of course there are near identical premium versions of it that are slightly better in the Primo Victoria and Cent 5/1 RAAC.

Cent 1 and Cent 7/1 are solid tanks in their tier that can certainly compete, but there are of course better tanks out there.

Cent AX is quite a way behind in the meta, it's a solid all rounder, fairly comfy, but doesn't really excel at anything and is way behind the tier 10 meta tanks.

Not the best medium tank line in the game, not the worst. Though I will say that especially for the tier 8 upwards, all the tanks have decent mobility, good gun depression, good view range, good pen, fairly bouncy turrets and are accurate. So they are all pretty comfortable to play and are flexible, no awkward quirks or bad gun depression etc. to deal with so if you know what you are doing you can get them to be fairly effective.

I just wish the tott missions would also be doable in cromwell b. I mean i sold the cromwell after i bought the cromwell b for obvious reasons.

Tried Centurion I today and sold that piece of **** after 10 battles. Huge waste of silver, equipment, and crew books. Stock gun is so bad that even tier 5 tanks have better guns. Armor is nonexistent, and god forbid you get hit anywhere but the turret your engine is dead immediately. I doubt I will ever play this line.

7/1 is still one of my all time favorite tier 9 tanks.

I just wish that the AX had access to the same HESH.
