Wouldn't work - the Decal would float off every time they drowned! :teethhappy:

And what's the point of these?

Like you don't have anything else to do to improve the gaming experience?

You're just wasting time and ignoring well known issues in this game...

Keep this up because you're doing really great.

Finally, great, you saved my weekend!

So, and what is next on your "to-do" list?

The buff of IS-4 is in the pipeline for more than 4 years.... does it ring a bell at WG?

Video says some of them are historical... as in "now you can also get these historical decals".

I think these are the 3xMoE equivalents for people who can't get 3xMoEs. I mean it's just a boasting thing, that is mostly counter productive in this World of Arties.

These rewards are useless and at best a mediocre reflection of player skill considering the requirements doesnt have to be met within a certain amount of battles. Anyone can get X amount of kills in any vehicle if you give them enough time so after around 1 month after release, they wont reflect skill, just a grind. If it was something like get 200 kills WITHIN 100 battles, it would actually reflect skill.

The decals are non-historical elements as far as I know.

Great idea WG

But the big icons all over the front of the upper plate look a bit big. Please could you make smaller or make them look like authentic regimental markings.

I think that isup to you, since you can make the decals already bigger as it is now.

This would be nice if the decals were actually free to place and not needing 100 gold to apply

You know, it's a cheap move to not grant decals backwards, especially when the medals, kills and battle count can easily be retrieved...

After 50k battles this won't mean much to anyone...

wg knows tthey have to get rid of them veteran players until there is nobody left to remember the time when the game was still good. this way they get a whole new gamer generation to feck over and milk.

What would be the point though? I assume WG sees this as some kind of content, to motivate players to continue playing with their favorite tanks. If you get every new decal at tier 5 unlocked right from the start, where is the motivation to play these older tanks again?

And if you don't want to replay tank xy because you have played it "that" often already, why does it matter if you have the decal for it? Nobody will see it if you don't drive it. And if you still drive it, the decals will unlock pretty quickly (if the requirements from the sandbox where you can test it stay the same).

So these basically act like a more casual Marks of Excellence.

I'm okay with that. I understand that not everyone will care about this, but I guess some people might feel satisfied for getting a sticker for clicking the battle button a number of times.

Getting a certain number of kills, while still not really impressive, at least requires a tiny bit more effort. But still something that doesn't really show skill or "pride and accomplishment" for me personally.

It would've been cool if Brothers In Arms medals actually showed off that someone is a teamplayer. It would have some good value. But anyone can really farm these medals by just sending a platoon invite.

Crucial contribution is basically the same thing. It just requires a bit more luck of having 2 players in a team with a large amount of kills to platoon up. So I feel like this decal also really gives me no "pride and accomplishment."

Earning Ace Tankers is probably the most impressive one, and one of two worth putting on your tank. Any muppet can get a lucky battle and get one Ace Tanker. But getting 8 on a single tank definitely requires some skill on most tanks. So a very bad player would probably need thousands and thousands of battles to even achieve such a thing.

Here's where I will also state that it kinda sucks that everyone has to start from 0 with these decals. Considering I've had a significant amount of Ace Tankers, on some tanks definitely having more than 8. The data of all of these missions for decals should be in our statistics, so should be able to be extracted.

And finally Top Guns and High Calibers. The HC's probably meaning the most imho, since Top Guns are more easily farmed by kill stealing and just getting lucky. Wheras farming High Calibers requires you to consistently do damage throughout your entire battle. You can still get lucky getting HC medals though. So the Ace Tankers are definitely the most valuable decals.

Also let me clarify one more thing: I think it is insanely bad to monetize these decals. The whole reason for these decals to be in the game, is to earn them. Why would you sell them? For gold no less?

This is honestly a horrible decision. For 10k credits I might've considered it. But the whole point here is to earn these things.

I'm not gonna be spending 3x100 gold for every decal that I want to put on my vehicle. (3x because of the 3 seasons)

Imagine having to pay gold for your marks of excellence... Yeah, no thank you. Companies go to far with making you earn a reward, but also buy it at the same time.

What's the point of earning a reward, if you still have to buy it? And vice versa.

If you genuinely want this to be something that will get taken seriously, do not sell these decals for gold. Cause otherwise I will genuinely not bother with these decals.
