It has been observed that there is an increased amount of phising attempts made though the game chat system.
I was wondering if Wargaming was aware, and are taking action against this type of attack, as the attacker appears to be creating new accounts constantly.

I am aware that most members in these forums know not to open these links, and fall for the scam, but there are a lot of kids out there who dont.

So uh... what sort of action do you want Wargaming.net to take?

Despite WG's effort in banning all these phishing accounts, they can always set up another account and send out PMs to you.
It would be helpful if players make the effort to report these kinds of violations to Player Support, instead of posting it on the forum, which does not help getting these accounts banned.

Wargaming should remove the possibility of players to message other players unless they have had x amount of games - that would create some kind of deterrent on the possibility of using ingame chat system to spam

It's good that you are trying to raise awareness of this problem.

Adding a minimal battle limit would be circumvented by the phishing company running battle bots rather than just chat ones which then further add to that existing ingame problem.  Also it impedes on regular new players getting to grips with the game, eg communicating with referal commanders / asking questions and making friends.

It's a crap problem, previous games I played had similar issue with ingame currency and boosting service chat spam bots, no permanent solution during 10 years or so was found, just banning as reported but it's always a losing life cicle.

And the problem is...?

-Shorter queue times on tier 1&2.

-Easy kills.

The problem iss we don't want bot controlled opponents we want independant human thinking.

Legit point but it's very tempting to make an obvious joke about independent thinking and a large section of the playerbase...

The only long term solution I can see is for people to be educated before being allowed on the internet, be that by school, employer or parents.
