Question.

People who contact me in garage with offensive comments usually get blacklisted and I ignore them. However just now I received a message that in my opinion is really inappropriate.

Is there a way to complain about that other than finding the persons name in whatever battle you were in and click "complain - unsportmanlike conduct"?

Regards, C.

1. Take a screenshot of the chat.

2. Go to Player Support. EU.Wargaming.net/support/en

Select "World of Tanks"

3. Scroll down and click "Contact Support"

4 Select "Reports & Appeals:

5 Select "Report a Violation"

6.Select "Chat violation"

7. Select "Private Message"

8 Fill out the form, describe the incident and attach the screenshot.

9 Press "Send"

You should get a reply in a couple of days, but don't expect to get any details of any action that Support might take.

When someone follows you to the garage it becomes harassment. Take a screenshot of the garage chat and send it to support......you can be sure of that player getting a holiday from the game.

Don't bother. I received anti-semitic PMs, attached screenshots to support ticket,

they just told me to use in-game reporting function, so they would do nothing really.

Useless lazy hate-speech encouraging jobsworths.

Support no longer accepts complaints about PM / General Chat etc..

They only accept complaints for in-game offenses such as abuse of physics for example (with replay).

Your best hope would be to use the in-game report system or notify a mod if it is serious (such as a direct threat).

Thank you all for your quick responses. I did send the ticket with a screenshot, we'll if I get an answer. And of course this player now resides on my blacklist.

It wasn't general chat.....it was a PM in the garage and they do accept such complaints, abusive PM's in the garage get sorted real fast.

My apologies then, I remember contacting them before and was told they no longer did, thanks for updating me on this! :)

What others have said + turn time stamps on for chat messages. They still have to do confirmation of the things actually being said, since photoshopping is super easy, and the messages having time stamps makes it a lot easier to check.

of course if one was to complain to ones MP, who had the balls to ask a parliamentary question on what the games industry and particularly WG was doing to combat hate speech; im quite sure it would hurry things up.  nothing hurts more than 'the Sun factor'.

Not true - I reported a very offensive message in General Chat yesterday via a ticket and got a response to say that action had been taken

In all honesty, i never report those, i usually take pleasure triggering them some more. Cause lets be real for someone to take the effort and try to insult you via pm he must be really triggered already. Just learn to enjoy rubbing some salt in till the person totally losses it.

Maybe you get the person to have a stroke or heart attack just by raging at you, i mean you could say "thats mean" but hey i am not the one raging so its more like not moving aside when someone fragile takes a swing and then complains about his broken hand.

Don´t think it matters, there are just a certain group of people that feel the need to let you know after a battle what kind of person you are, or describe colorful intercourse with your family (dead and alive).

Still don´t get why anyone believes someone else cares about opinions, but each time i read someone asking how to deal with it i kinda see at least one that seems to care to much for his own good.

Words cannot harm anyone and mean jack crap, cause if they would my whole family would have died from cancer like thousand times over and involuntarily participated in some necrophile fetish session. Neither of which happened.

Dont bother.
I reported a guy for "harrasing" me post game via garage chat. He called me names, told me that I am @&*£ my mother and bending over for my father.

Called me Muslim piece of @*£&*($)( (Which is funny since I am from Eastern Europe and not Muslim but still...), called me gypsy...

I took screen shots of the chat and what he called me.

I reported him for: abusive chat, sexually offencive language and making fun of someones religion (not mine but still)....

The WG staff told me that they will look in to it..
Few days latter I saw no change in his status, still playing the game.

I complained how nothing was done to him. WG told me that they are not at liberty to divulge actions taken against other players.

TLDR:
Dude called me disgusting names, yelled Islamophobic things. Reported him, and WG didnt care.

So dont bother. :(
