in b4 lol stats .. yes i know i'm bad

That being said.. currently i get so many games that feel completely beyond my control..

either i'm 0:6 in 2 min and looking at my minimap gives me a nervous breakdown, or i'm looking at 9:2 whatever in a few min thinking to myself why am i even here?

are people with a better track record than me having similar experiences? >.<

Perception plays a role. I think (from my 1k battle analysis) that those losses just stick longer, despite the fact that they actually don't happen that often.

But funnel maps + OP hulldown tanks + competent scouts in one team and potatoes in the other + higher alpha than in the old days, are all elements that can lead to decisive victories once vision dominance or map control has been achieved.

What is your expectation?

As a 48% player (lol stats) you are 'average' so statistically are neither to blame for the losses or are responsible for the wins. If you want to see better results you need to work on being more influential in your games, but even then that's only going to get you around 60%wins if you become a WoT savant overnight.

i clearly stated that winning or losing is not the actual thing that bothers me fam

it's the lack of control in games.. that end in landslides regardless of outcome.

The closer a player is to the mean the less control he has in the outcome of the battles and the more team dependent one is.

That said, games where the team collapses (often not linked to their skill, but merely small bad in the current meta) happen to everyone. Better players get more out of them, but generally as much a play ball as you once it happens (their skill is in preventing from happening more often than average, but even that is just 1 our of 5 or so).

It's game with no respawns. Every tank lost significantly increases the chances of losing another and further increasing the odds of losing more. That's just how it works.

Try not to die, try to keep up with the front when the enemy dies. That's it.

Probably just bad luck, the fact that progression in wot is easier/faster now then ever may also play a role.

More and more people just successfully die/derp their way up to tier x. And a mistake in tier x is usually less forgiving then any other tier. Specially given that some of the best players play nearly nothing but high tier.

I agree however that those landslides aren't that enjoyable, be that wins or losses is rather irrelevant.

i guess it was a rethorical question to begin with.. in the end it always boils down to the same simple thing with gaming...

git gud.

anyway thanks for the input folks..

imma go back to driving my wheelchair around and being yelled at by steve in a bush for not throwing myself at 10 enemy tanks for his shot of the day.

Eh, not really. Gitting gud gets you more out of everything, but you'll still see more than your share of chance-less losses and certain wins.

Man I wish getting good would stop my teammates driving 1 by 1 into the enemy. :harp:

Tbh, it's why most here are not THAT into tier X vs others. It's been bad for years. But for several reasons, inc balance gaps vs just Steve alone tbh. It's easier to control the headless chickens running around on tier II than on tier X.

Respawns can turn an initial rout into a decent battle, I see it every day in War Thunder.

Good players have trouble too but I still do daily 65 % wr on hightiers nowadays as long as I play tanks I'm really good at. If you are one of those who daily do 10 loss streaks, the problem is in you.

I had a battle day before yesterday - we were 6-0 down before I'd even got my Jackson into a position where I could start aiming :) Time to just shrug and get on with trying to get as much damage dealt as possible before the end inevitably comes...

These games happen, I guess they hurt more in a T10 matchup as a high tier roflstomp is going to get you into negative creds big time!
