Yeah, about that: I have had plans to make a second account to let me test stuff in a training room in such meticulous, micromanaged and repetitive manners that I do not wish to inflict it upon other humans. A new season of the referral program has just started. In the next few months there will be neither Frontlines nor Steel Hunter. And my boss is forcing me to actually take some vacation time which will result in me having several free weeks in the next few months.

 

Question 1: are there still invite codes that give a Churchill III? The ones that did seem several years old.

Question 2: how much time / how many battles are actually needed for me to finish a referral program considering my abilities and my dislike of platooning?

 

 

EDIT: I already have the 112 myself. Got it with a discount voucher and used it to train a Chinese heavy crew for a bit in conjunction with the streamer battles. If questions 1 and 2 get answers that make me happy, I will pick a person I like to receive me as a referral noob.

You need 1,5k special points. Without platooning with your main account you are limited to only 3 ways to get points: Win = 2, more damage + assist than own health in battle = 2, Earn medal (Top gun etc.) = 10. If you're godlike player on tiers 2-4 you can earn medals like top gun / high caliber / steel wall / orliks medal (or medium equivalent) / pascucci / confederate / scout very reliably. (Each once per 10-15 battles or less)

I played my referral account for 3 days now, did like 75-80 battles and I have 670 or 680 from the 1,5k Points needed. I did platoon however so my platoon mate often took high caliber from me.

Tanks like S35/T127/PzB2 are godlike for this stuff, you can sometimes even get 4 of those medals in a single game (Steel wall + top gun + high caliber + 1 random that depends on MM and map) If you solo only proper tanks it should be 150-200 battles. I finsihed one referral in like 138 battles on Churchill III with spotting / dpm setup (vents, rammer, optic + bond optic reserve) that is my record. On Pz38H referral account it took me almost 200 battles (and I switched to Hetzer from the Pz38H as it's just super slow)

You can speedrun (nolife) tank for yourself in ~5 days if you're really committed.

With your skill level.. I don't know your recent skill level, you should do it once to see for future referrals how many points you get per day.
 

There's also the strategy to WWWWWWWWW and die quickly on tanks like BT-2 / M2 Light / T2 Light. If your team wins without you (roughly 50% chance) you get a scout medal for 1 minute battle.

No need to imagine.  That's the situation with Chinese heavies.

that's just because M5A1 and basically all chinese LTs (especially Type 64 and Type 62) up to T8 are better tier for tier than heavy tanks.
