Hello,

Not only is the game taking 2-3 mis to load, the first 1 min there are no textures and now there is no sound, just the crew voices,

I play no mods and this has been fine all week

anyone have idea to fix it?

UPDATE

I swap to eu 2, now sounds are back BUT it still taking 2-3 mins to load game and textures not here

Once I am in for about 1 min lag goes away, so its only at start

snow maps even worse to load

I've not heard anyone else with that issue. So more info is needed other than no mods. Have you checked your GPU temps? HDD or SSD? Updated any drivers after this started etc. It could be a system thing vs the game.

You spelled, 'Bugs', incorrectly. I believe you meant, 'Other players'.

Those arent bugs, those are issues with your PC.

If all you know is how to switch the PC on, you will have alot of hassle working out the problem. PCs are very complicated machines.

1. the replies to your post confirm that no one else is having these difficulties.

2. This means the problem originates at your end.

3. There are two possible causes (A) internal to your home, this could be your computer hardware or its software, or (B) it is your Internet Service Provider and the route it is taking to connect you to the World of Tanks servers.

- check your internet service provider's webpage to make sure they are not reporting any problems

- open the World of Tanks launcher, hover your mouse over the the game settings button a drop down menu should appear, click on the repair option (outside chance but worth a try as easy to do)

- go to https://eu.wargaming...#category_25798

then run through all the trouble shooting options to see if any of them fix it

Well then, to simplify things. You can install programs to monitor your temps as a start. Speccy is a good one for that. It's free and can monitor temps on anything in your system. As in your cards. The graphic card section will show anything from temps to driver versions etc.

It can also show you your drives. And what type of drive you have installed WOT on via the disk letter. As there have been issues with slow loading related to that before if it's an HDD. It also runs a small test on it to give you a "status" on it. Along with running temps and actual read speeds. If that is lower then what you should have.

Simple checks just to eliminate some small stuff to make it easier for others to help etc.

In addition to the excellent advice Bal has provided above, one of the things a non-computer literate person can do which can have drastic results in improving your PCs performance is to check it's not clogged up with dust.

I'm going to assume you know how to operate a vacuum cleaner :) check your PCs fan and vent spaces and if they're coated with dust bunnies give them a good hoovering.

You can also open up the case and check out the internals to see if they're dirty, but tread a lot more carefully if doing this, static could destroy your computer quite easily.

Whilst the advice you've been given is good if you're that computer illiterate then you would probably just be better going and finding someone who does know what they're doing because installing a bunch of software you don't know how to use, to attempt to diagnose a problem you don't understand, from a load of test data you won't know how to interpret, is unlikely to end in a quick resolution.

tl;dr Go bribe a geek with Cheetos to fix it for you.

Hello all, I turned my PC off and let rest for a bit and now it works again, do you think the internal parts are over worked?

Could be an issue, could be just the restart itself. The only way to know for sure would be to run a tool to measure temps.

A partial fix would be to remove the side panel of the case so heat can dissipate more easily, but someone, with a bit of knowledge, should do some troubleshooting better sooner then later.

Go to youtube, watch videos from Linus Tech Tips, JayzTwoCents, BitWit, and similar channels.

Lots of useful things to learn about PCs, their components, and how it all works.

Pinpointing the cause of the issue you ran into should prove much easier.

Dude, just get a pc specialist to check your computer and tell him your problems

Its apparent that you are (as you yourself said) inexperienced with PC.

Dont bother with Youtube and tips. Those still rely on you knowing anything except off button.

Not trying to insult you. I have a brother who is the same.

Just take your pc to a local specialist and get it done

Its 99% your pc.

P.s- 24k games is a lot for someone who doesn't know anything about the machine he is using. You never had an issue with your pc or this game after all those years and games?

He can post in the artillery section for help.

They will kill a man for a bag of Cheetos. They need something to entertain their left hand.

No, I am so useless with anything manual, I can't even put up an IKEA small table, I barely know what wifi is and dont have a clue about VPN, IP dress or anything,

Because of lockdown everything is closed so I will just wait till it open
