As the title says, some tanks went up almost 5€ in price... what kind of BS is this?

Is Wargaming not greedy enough?

I see 0 information about this, how can something this important be implemented without a single word being mentioned oficially?

I didn't know inflation worked like that... I guess wargaming thinks we should spend even more money... and yet they forget 50% of their gaming population is from a country where avg salary is 300-400€

I remember Mars bars costing 7 GP pence.  Firstly an indication of the power of inflation and secondly, boy, I'm getting old.

It's their 10th anniversary, so instead of fixing the core problems of the game they thought... what the hell, let's up the price of the premium tanks.

Figures.

The prices on the Russian server are lower. But even inside the EU there are huge differences in Income, compare Switzerland with Romania.

When I go to the premium shop every tank has two offers. They are identical except one of them is about €3.50 more expensive. But when I click on the more expensive offer it tells me it's unavailable.

I suspect WG has their prices set for €. And any nation not using € like mine, might notice spikes in prices when something comes along to affect the world economy and the value of their currency. Like a pandemic. As during lockdown, the store prices spiked for me as the value of our local currency fell like a rock vs € due to closing most of our nation's income sources. Thus you need more to exchange for €1. We re-opened most of the closed down factories etc 2 weeks ago, so your average tier 8 prem is a bit cheaper now for me vs 2 months ago when everything was closed.

not sure, as i rarely check vehicle prices in prem shop, suka pershing and m4rev is 27,45. tier 8 lts 25eur, tier 6s around 15, so that seems just about right. but im not sure about some tier 8 heavies - is-6 42.69(was it really that much lol), lowe was always the most expensive one, so 43.95 is probably about right. tier 8 tds 37-39.

T34 was removed quite some time ago, already.

For the same reason your local supermarket doesn't take out a national ad when the price of bread goes up. It's not important.

WG can charge whatever they want for their product. Either it's a price that interests you or it doesn't.

My local supermarket doesn't increase the price of the product by 20% overnight and pretends it didn't happen

I am openly asking WG on their stance on this, and when someone asks for information, it has to be provided... It is our money, not Wargamings...

And no, it doesn't have to do anything with local currency, many people from different countries confirmed on teamspeak that the prices went up...

As someone who spends on average 100€ a month on WoT, this hidden price increase is a slap in the face. So I will keep my money for myself. But hey, free to play players keep this game alive, right?

As one Bunny to another, WG staff who deal with the Premium shop and set the prices of vehicles are unlikely to be reading the forums, so do not expect any response from them.

As to the prices of vehicle, have you taken into account that not all Premium vehicles are available all the time, that some are offered at discount prices during events and that the price returns to "normal" afterwards? Just like with any shop, special offers come and go, prices fluctuate with exchange rate differences.

It would have been nice if you could have provided an example or two of vehicle whose prices have changed, rather than just saying prices have increased. What tanks are you talking about, what price were they and when?

Mine does.

Constantly.

They will put the price of something up by 50% for a few days then roll it back by 30% and pretend you are getting a bargain.

As for the premium shop, the prices are fixed in Euros and converted to your local currency, so I often see a fluctuation of a few GBP.

Net monthly income chart below

The seven RU servers accommodate five times the number of players than the two EU servers. The average salary in Russia net pcm is $520, but the seven RU servers cover a wider area than merely Russia. So your figures are a bit out.

Way back I recall a Q & A that stated for accounting purposes War Gaming fixed the world wide price of a pixel tank in dollars, and then converted it into local currencies. One of the reasons for this was to ease out premium shop prices fluctuating. But of course the price in the shop is always likely to fluctuate due to currency movements.
