Join the stream if you want to waste your time more than just by simply playing the game.

Of course everyone different people like different environments, however I must say that should you wish to socialize with other tankers at any time, it is a great place to do so. :)

Yeahhhh, that other tank game closed down its forum and moved to discord only, because it is much easier to bury complaints there.

Not to mention that going by my experiences before I turned off the in-game chat, and what I can see of the general channel, I kinda doubt the people one would want to socialize with are the ones speaking up.

It’s a terrible place to socialize. Most of people there are toxic, they don’t allow you to have different opinion than them, they jump on you for no reason and they make fun of you if you did something silly. You can’t even share your achivements there because nobody cares enough to check it, there are no constructive conversations, just the same toxic people over and over arguing with regular ones that just join there to, like you said, „socialize”.

It was so terrible I decided to troll because that’s the only way you will enjoy yourself there. The best thing is evading ban and joining there by different name and laughing when they find out its you again

Just because someone turns out to be toxic doesn't mean you have to agree to it and continue being toxic yourself. There're proper moderators that are keen on helping you whenever you are a witness or victim of abuse there. :sceptic:

Maybe those moderators should focus more on toxic behavior in game

Well, so far I haven't had any negative experiences on Discord, rather to the contrary, always had positive encounters.

Regarding the forums, as far as I know there're no plans to close it down, and for the complaints, as you can see in multiple threads those are being addressed. :)

Discord moderators and people who sanction for in-game rule-breaking are two different groups.

Maybe those Moderators should be focused into a more specific area of the game and not on some 3rd party based platform

WoT is one of the last games where a sane person would want to "socialize" with other players.

Please refer to the community driven part, not WG employees, not developers and mostly people who know the community well. Misbehaviour is not tolerated from anyone.

We're slowly working on making sure we offer more languages over time and not just open to everyone and have a riot :) Soon.

The discord is good for one thing : You can platoon with people quite easily not matter the time.

The only interaction i can remember between the "staff" and the players was during a KV2 event. Eekee was inviting people to join him on discord, they were trying to get as much as KV2 in the same session. It was a great moment even if the sound in the background was a bit too loud. But a lot of laugh actually

So far, the best way to interact with the "staff" is twitch then youtube. I fee like discord is far behind sadly. What could be change to improve the experience on discord ? Well when i see Eekee streaming, he is already very busy answering the questions from Twitch and Youtube. So discord should be another kind of support : the idea of making 15 vs 15 could be interesting but not all the time.
