So for the first time in a VERY long time I had a couple ingame trolls pushing me off a cliff right from the start of the battle. These two player had very few battle on their account and apparently found their action funny, despite one of them getting marked as a team killer. Obviously I reported both of them for "unsportsmanlike conduct", but what guarantee do I have that any action at all will be taken to teach these guys not to behave like this in the future? I mean I'm loosing progress towards 3rd mark of excellence just because they found it funny that they could push me off a cliff... I'm NOT pleased with their performance and needless to say, we lost the battle too.

The short version: Is there somewhere I can submit a replay to get WG to punish these ingame trolls?

there is. you can send the replay to WG support under physics abuse. make sure you include (a) timestamp(s) of when it happened so that support can see the actions quickly and be polite about it

I will add though, that if you said or did anything against the rules (called them names, pushed them about etc..) even if they started it, you can also be sanctioned should you send the replay. they'll ban all they see doing wrong.

This. I had to report a pusher 3 days ago. He hasn't logged on since then.

Ban confirmed. :great:

Last week I got pushed off the cliff on Overlord by my teams M53/M55 who had been spamming the chat with profanities after missing tanks that used the center ridgeline to make themselves harder targets for him to click on. I tumbled down one of those ramp spots losing 1200hp and ending up with ~200ish with all the enemy top tiers still in good health. Found myself staring into the barrel of a full hp Conqueror and just barely made it to cover in time to get accidently bumped into by a obj 704. The now dead and completely missed his jump M53/M55 had stayed in chat calling me a "type of cat" for not jumping and kept encouraging the 704 to push me out of cover to get shot by the ConQ.

Just to humor myself I decided to go through the effort of both reporting him and submitting a ticket for physics abuse completed with a replay and timestamps. Can confirm he was still playing 2h after "we can assure you that appropriate measures have been taken.", the following evening and on the day after that.

Was his name anonymized by any chance?

Because if you report the anonymized name, they might've banned the wrong player.  You gotta check their personal profile to see their actual nickname, and write that in the "player's nickname" bubble.

It could depend on who's handling the ticket. They could easily make a mistake.

Alternatively CS may be well aware that the in-game name may not be the real one and so check it before banning a player. Just a thought.

Ah, so you have a non-tinfoil-hat-like explanation as to why PointZero's harasser wasn't banned? Let's hear it.

You can submit a ticket with the reply, but often you are better off just clicking "battle" again.

Why let him "win" by making you waste even more of your time for an uncertain result.

There will always be trolls and normally WG has automated systems in place to deal with them.

Keep in mind, if I was noticing trolls every other game or so then I'd suggest flooding support with tickets, but luckily they seem to be pretty rare.

Whether I have an explanation, or not, doesn’t mean your ‘theory’ is correct.

Unfortunately not, you can only use the in game reporting functions.

your lucky, I got pushed off the cliff multiple times, all reported in in-game system, and send the complaints to CS with reply, but seems nothing happened to those losers after, they keep playing like normal.

It was, I noticed and used his real one in the report.
