WG, could you please pull your servers out of your [edited]? Or at least fix the traffic? I'm getting sick of random disconnects when the tank goes full bananas and you lose the controll of vehicle.

Before Homer J posts there, I assure that my ISP works perfectly and it is the [edited] management of WG servers which give us trash traffic. I've already lost several battles today, just because traffic went ham.

Routing paths perhaps?

Unless all those games have their servers in the exact same physical building, the route they take will be different.

Anyhow, the problem isn't Wargaming's servers.

And if it isn't your own networking gear or your ISP, then the obvious thing is that the issue is somewhere in between.

So uh... could you post some pingplotter results? ^_^

I suspect the fact none of them are 100% server run might be it.  GSGO etc does input or even weapon dispersion on your client. Thus lag is not something you notice always.

To be fair tho... Regardless of how good or fast your ISP is. Your ISP and WG are not the only two points your data goes by. And when 100% of everything you do, inc key input goes to the server and back. You just need one bad overworked apple among the 10 or so servers between your ISP and WG for you to lose control of your tank. It's a major downside with a 100% server run game.

I've not had any issues all day tbh. Been on both servers. But my traffic is not directed the same way as yours either perhaps.

Prove it.

Download pingplotter

if you use EU1 point it at login.p1.worldoftanks.eu

if you use EU2 point it at login.p2.worldoftanks.eu

Let it run while you play a few battles.

Save the trace as an image and post it up here.

Until then I'm going to say since plenty of other people play without any issue that it's your ISP.

I think I have mentioned this several times now...

Pingplotting the portal server is useless if the instance servers are behind it.

Some of the instance servers could be overloaded.

I thought you are a server/IT guy?

FWIW, I'm not having issues at this moment. But I have been there several times since 2011 (and had this discussion with you maybe 10 times)

Again, if it were the servers, we'd probably see far more complaints on the forum about it within the time segment indicated.

Which is, again, why pingplotter is a useful diagnostic tool to give an indication of where the problem might be.

Happens to me all the time.  I know it’s isp as I have bt and they are crap!  But for where I live they are the best option and open reach laying fibre so some degradation is to be expected when they are upgrading 1970’s tech.

Without proof its servers and not isp then it’s just a rant.

So let me get what you advice is, if there’s a problem between the client and server Pingplotter can only point to a sub-set of where the problem is therefore you shouldn’t do anything as you can’t diagnose all possible problems?

I don't have any advice.

I just have issues with the all time greatest app to solve connection issues with WoT.

Showed countless of pingplots on the forums, with nothing to see on the route to the PORTAL SERVER.

Yet, I had disconnects and lag.

Must your ISP (Posting plots all showing connections across europe (plots to Belfast, London, Amsterdam, Frankfurth... even Italy. No issues. So not my ISP)

Must be your wi-fi (Playing on ethernet, Cat5e so I can use my 200Mb connection without hiccups...)

Must be your router settings (not using a router)

Must a virus infection (I don't visit pr0nhub or other risky websites. I don't use torrents/download crap. I don't open links in mails. No virus found either)

Etc.

Etc.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So your advice is do nothing then. Maybe we should compare the success rate of this with actually trying to see where the problem is.

Oh the logic of X didn't work for me therefore X is useless is, well a useless conclusion.
