Umm both aren't quite as nimble as the chaffee at low speeds but at high speeds they're quite similar. The 12t is a bit sluggish it's not like other tier 5 lights of other nations. The 13 75 is a bit more like it and resembles the chaffee I guess in some ways but I prefer playing the 13 75 more so than the chaffee. You can do more with it and like take out type 59s etc which isn't something I'd ever get the chance to do in a chaffee. For the point of killing and getting exp apart from just spotting it can do both. They also do actually bounce every now and then even though armour is none.

i havnt played the 13/75 yet but from what iv seen i think you are correct on what you say about the speed. 13/75 can deffo take out a type but also a chaffee can. the chaff just needs an opening to get up close with the type. iv had a chaff get behind me on my type a couple of times and once theyre there your f****d if youve got no support. 5/6 shots to the back of the turret(ammo rack) and you'll make a type blow up if he dosnt have wet ammo rack/crew skills. same with the 13/75 realy but  a 13/75 has the hp/top speed to get behind even when the type isnt engaged with somone else, you just have to pick your time carefully =]

So wait, you bring up a medium tank as an example to back up your arguments, and then you continue comparing the amx 13-75 to the TankDestroyer M18 Hellcat, while saying that a stock tank sucks. Explain to me the link between them and the amx 13/75.

Explanation: All Stock tanks suck. Some more than others. I referenced the M18 to the AMX 13/75 as its a tier 6 with high speed low armour and its meant to fight not scout.
The argument everyone keeps bringing up regarding the MM is absolutely pointless. All tier 5-6 get in battles with 9-10.
The comparison i make to a TD and a Medium tank is that no other vehicle has the survivability of the AMXs.
You have the speed to get the hell out, you have the HP to take a few hits, you have the gun to make most vehicles you meet very sad, very fast!

From the people commenting on the AMXs in the different topics, i dont see any weakness pointed out. The only real wish of AMX drivers is to be top tier to faceroll every game!

Now that i have 50 games with the AMX 12t.
OMG are you kidding me.
Its like turning on easy mode. Does the same damage as a T-44 and can penetrate tier 7-8 tanks like paper.
And they get stronger with each tier, I got it with a 75% crew( now on 90%) and its still insanely accurate if you wait for the aim circle before shooting.
Honetsly, only people that have not played other tanks can say its "ok" since they mostly have no idea how to play.
Only problem i have is that i get carried away and suicide most games (still getting 1-4 kills before that) MM issues - i still dont see it. I was fighting in tier 8 battles with M3 Lee as well, i had them in the AMX 40 (which is also not a bad tank when you get used to its slow slow slow speed) .

i like the amx 13 75 a lot, good accu, good speed, and small...
I just sense something not long ago (but maybe the problem is in my machine), but somethimes at close range the (top) gun do some "ghost shot" <- i mean the enemy tank is in or bigger than the targeting cricle so no way to miss but its happen to miss...
So anyone sense this too or just me?

keep in mind that AMX 12/13 are REALLY inaccurate on the move so even at point blank you can miss (happened on those 3 tanks, even the 75 SA50) but ghost shells happen quite a lot too. I guess that server lose some data quite often and inside those lost datapack, there are our shells...

Oh sure, sometime it happens you circle a poor Tiger and rape it from 70% to 0 or while downhill on Malinovka, pewpewpew on KV-2 and sending it to walhalla firing the last two shells on the move in the defenseless Grille. I had some crazy hits, but what I'm used to is to miss a King Tiger at 20m.

theorically the SA50 is quite good. An improved 75L70 more or less but on the move even with this gun it's shameful mainly if you keep in mind that FL-12 turret is a vertical stabilizer by itself (total opposite in the game)

The auto-loader is amazing and you'd think the speed makes up for the paper armour. It doesn't. It can't circle a tank to save it's life and the penetration is bad. If you get hit once, half your modules are destroyed and your commander is having a fit on the floor. A second shot and your guaranteed dead. Not sure if it's just me or this tank is painful.

So I found out I was getting tired of driving huge tanks, and decided this was for me.

So far so great, already had a few ace rounds. Need to get more practice in, I'm far too aggressive nad used to being in tanks where I can take a hit to attain such a forward position. Need to learn to hang back and pick my moves more careful like.

Though the camo seems rather good. I was sat in-ish/behind a large bush and another amx12t and M18 just drove right by me. Then I did a stupid and rolled out to try and shoot one, was too far forward and friendly support was too far out to murderise the m18 after I got the amx. Still, great great tank. Can't wait to ascend the tree.
