The reason why I might have avoided those fires might be because I try not to show my front to enemy, learned pretty fast showing the front is a fast way to get a disabled engine. So, I rely more on the ability to get out of the line of the shot, or (lol) rely on the HP pool to take the damage. Chances of you actually bouncing anything is slim anyway ;)

What are you best stats with the AMX13/75?

Mine are:
Maximum destroyed in battle:  7
Maximum XP per battle:  1882
Hit rating:  77%
Top tank destroyed:  E-50 (solo'd it from 100% to 80%, last shot hit his ammo rack, boom :))

Yes, it's great.=) Only thing I have to complain is bad accuracy on the move and non-existent gun elevation.

I like it too. My main problem with this tank is the lack of ammo, it is REALLY easy to run out of ammo.

But again, I like it. I am wondering if it is worth to upgrade to the '90? How is the credit income of the '90? Does it perform (even) better on the battlefield?

I liked it very much on the test server. Don't really care about the credit income but the gun does sooo much damage and penetrates so much better. Only thing that's bad in that is its long clip reload time.

My win rating is currently around 41% with it as I had some really shitty matches to begin with (only 23 played so far though), and I haven't played it that much yet. However with each match I begin to love this little tank more and more. Even a colossal loss is still a lot of fun with it for some reason :D Mainly because with this gun you can still dish out punishment really fast hehe!

so I have big doubts that 13/90 drivers assault full life t8 tanks, even T7 hvies.

Yeah it is possible, 6x220dmg and then you need second drum to finish... It require a bit of courage and a safe place to wait 40s. I have done it once with an Tiger P (1450hp), but there were nobody around, and the turret rotation speed is low. I would never do the same with a IS serie however.

I almost killed a T29 full life (I had some problem with the camera who just moved permanently making my turret parasited by undesired movments) but it was with the 75mm... So I doubt about staying alive between two drums if you are forced to fight during this time. Against some very slow turning T7/8 perhaps, ok. But it's not only risky that sounds suicidal. i surely will try it when I will have 13/90 cause I play AMX1x too much agressive (cant stay hidden and wait for dying prey  :( )

guys, about your WR it's totally meaningless. the bigger amount of battles is... 103. Come back with 500 battles or 1000 and we will see what are stats at this moment (even if WR is totally nonsense in this game cause it can be tweaked by so much factors.)

My opinion is that matchmaking fks it up often, just because its a light, it hasnt to be stacked in with t9 and 10, that really sucks, it doesnt behave like a light, for scouting like a t50-2 or vk2801 it isnt agile enough, the matchmaking should care about the french lights more as they were mediums for matchmaking ...

Damage output is higher with 90, also tank have more fear factor (ya know, OP french tankz killin everytin in single mag etc etc), but money factor is IMO whole lot less compared to 13/75, eaten mainly by repair and rearm (first one around 8k, with single peak to 10k, ammo IIRC 250/piece). Also 40s reload kills all usability of 90mm gun in terms of "hill racing", as you arrive to the scene before initial loading and you are unable to return fire.

All in all, I guess I'll rebuy 13/75 for moneymaking purposes and sell 13/90. Though 1k hp helps against "one-hit-wonders" - BL10 and so on

As you can see, you don´t HAVE to hit anything to be successful with the AMX 13/75 :D

Best game exp wise (without the 3x) since the beta.

Replay Linky

(Yeah I know could have went for that arty at the end but I had two shells left and if I missed one or got a low random damage I didnt fancy my chances ramming him to death, so I thought it best to wait for him to show himself and then risk the shots and just go for the cap if he wanted to hide.)

Obviously for once I was one of the top tanks, so not like a pulled out anything superbly outstanding, but I really doubt if I could have done it in any other tank for that tier.  Loving the french light/medium tree since getting to the AMXs and tbh so far while match making throwing you in tier X matches can be annoying especially on some maps, they are still loads of fun if you know what you are doing.  They are little ninjas of the battlefield.

Hmm, very likely. None of the "regular" tanks have been so much fun to play, as AMX 13 75. Chaffee and Patton (and the old Pershing for that matter) come close, but I don´t consider them "regular".  ;)

Tier 10 match can be fun too, especially when their IS-7 ignore you (big mistake) :Smile-playing:

I have the same feeling, even if I lose with my AMX I still have a load of fun. My E-50 has been gathering dust the past weeks.

why the f u _ k is so slow reloading on AMX 13 90, 90mm gun? it says 7-10 shells in minute,i don't understand it s realoading slower than some artys, IS have 5,56 shells in minute and its reloading crazy fast..i mean oponent can kill me 5 times till i reload gun..... they really need to fix that.. or that is normal??
