Hello all,
I have a question about the Panzer 58 which is currently in the premium shop. It is being sold in combination with the "Chocolate Bar" style. Is it really a different tank from the Panzer 58 Mutz and from the Schwarzpanzer? I want to know in the interest of tank collecting.

Greetings

Yes, it is a separate vehicle with separate statistics & such.

It is however identical to the Mutz and Schwartz in performance, but I reckon it doesn't have the camo bonus the livery of the other two gives.

Hello,

It's a different vehicle and has basically the same stats like the Panzer 58 Mutz. The only slight difference between the 2 tanks is that the Panzer 58 Mutz comes with a camo bonus.
We linked the Mutz in the article because the Panzer 58 is not available yet in our Tankopedia.

If you have the Mutz or the Schwartz you can swap them with the Panzer 58 if you like.

Damn, I bought the "Chocolate Bar" style, thinking I could apply it to my Mutz (or maybe my Schwarzpanzer), but no dice....

"a different tank" = depends in what way you are asking.

1. All three have the same statistics for all in game dynamics, ie armour (hull and turret), gun (calibre, penetration, aim time etc), mobility (forward and backward speeds and traverse). They are underneath the same tank.

2. All three look different.

3. In each players own personal account the three tanks will be treated differently. Thus the owner could have a win rate of 54% in one of them and 48% in another etc. Different spotting, different figures for kills/deaths etc.

Hmmm, The Mutz is available in game for bonds. This swap might be a good idea if the Panzer 58 is available for a limited time and I could re-acquire the Mutz in the future, when I have enough bonds.

Thanks for the info.

I believe that you may be mistaken. The item in the Premium shop is the Panzer 58 Chocolate.

so tanks with a camo bonus;

Panzer 58 Mutz (bear on it)

Schawtz Panzer (black version of the same tank)

Panzer 58 (Chocolate bar )

without camo

Panzer 58 (the plain green one)

The camo on the regular Panzer 58 looks to be removeable, which is not the case for the Mutz and the Schwarzpanzer. The regular Panzer 58 without camo has no camo bonuses. The regular Panzer 58 with the camo (any camo) gives the regular camo bonuses (+3% camo value) that camo gives. The tanks with non-customizable exteriors have a different mechanism and in practice there is not much difference between a tank with a camo equipped; but there is a difference.

What's the difference?

I also got confused by the fact that I cant apply style I bough to Mutz I got.

Can I submit a ticket to return my anniversary coins, anyone knows?

PS for how long swap is available?

How much does it take for swap to be completed?

I'm already waiting more than 36 hours after my ticket was answered.

Edit: I realize it's very appealing to answer "Yes", but I assume you get the point of my question.

It usually works like this:

  • As already mentioned, each tanks is different in terms of combat record etc.
  • In terms of stats, they are mostly identical.
  • The only difference is a marginal one in cammo values: the Mutz and Schwartz have the cammo 'baked in' to give essentially the same end value for concealment, whereas the Chocolate one (assuming you mount the style/cammo) applies the cammo effect to a regular tank, give a very slightly different cammo value.

This is based on the whole business with the AMX 13-57 a while back, and the difference isn't really noticeable (I have both on my NA account, and my memory is that the difference is tiny).

Edit: I've just checked my NA account; it looks like WG tweaked things slightly - my two AMX 13-57s have identical cammo values.
