the most Toxic community around...

Playing WoT, the community here makes LoL's look like care bears.

lol, nope. At least some are helpful here. There they expect anyone with 0 battles to know as much as they do about every character. And if you don't... oh boy. As every single one I've talked to in that game was like that. Here you can find some that will help out if you ask nice enough.

Vast majority of games I've played in WoT someone is always raging or insulting someone.

I occasionally see someone throw a hissy fit, but most of the time I don't notice anything.

It takes a lot of stupidity before someone speaks up. Usually from the one speaking up, occasionally by someone else (if more than one person is giving you shtick, then you might have done something wrong - no excuse for one not telling you that in a civil way, but still, something to learn from).

Not really. Those are either kids or (excuse me) dumb people who fight even the passing breeze.

Don't worry, at this rate WoT will surely overtake LoL in 2 years or so. We're working on it, just slowly but it's happening so don't get your hopes down!

Don't forget that in WoT you have teams of 15 people. Wheras in LoL you have a lot smaller teams I believe.

Yeah, most teams in WoT have one or two (And of course sometimes more) toxic players in chat. But considering the smaller team sizes in LoL, they're probably more common there.

Been a long time ago since I tried LoL, but I definitely do remember seeing a large amount of toxicity, and that was in battles against bots.

A good friend of mine has played a lot of both LoL and WoT, and he always defended WoT that it's no nearly as bad here compared to LoL.

I have never played League of legends as the graphics looks like a kids game, however I have long experience in a much more complex role playing games (Everquest).

In guild communities with mandatory raiding you can't accept any slackness.

In top end guilds you can't accept to have members who don't show up on raids. Therefore we introduced DKP (dragon killing points) where you get points for the raids you show up on. People who where casual would never earn enough DKP to bid on any items and the hardcore members would get the best upgrades first.

If you go LD (linkedead) more than 3 times on raids, you may get kicked from the guild as you are useless.

Mandatory raiding in hardcore guilds mean you need to play 6 - 7 hours every day, 5 - 7 times pr week as a minimum (atleast that's how we played back in the days).

Offcourse if you don't know your class and details about scripts in the raids you are useless.

WOT however has to be considered as a casual / slackness type of game. Muppets would never have been tolerated in a game where you are depending on members to have a minimum level of skills, dedication and understanding of the game.

There are many good and dedicated WOT players, and I suspect that players that show any interest for the game hang around forums like this :)

Well, here you are playing with everybody, in lol you mostly play with somebody on the same level.

Bu lol has a much bigger issue with toxicity, it has even been a major topic lately.

Forums, roughly the same, mostly helpful, some discussions and some "the hell is this post even about".

But in game, with cross team chat, I do not think I have finished any kind of game in lol in about last 3 years, that has not ended with somebody saying "ez" at the end, mostly the most useless person on the wining team, and that is quite toxic. It the equivalence of arty that drowned saying "you are welcome for the carry" after you win the game.

This is why I find myself playing PvE or single player games much more lately, the good that should have been from playing online with alot of different kind of people has become a cesspool of human behaviour, regretfully. Not all of them, but too many to have fun for a decent amount of time.

You can say grow a thicker skin, ignore it, or turn it off, but that does not fix it, and it just takes away the part that was supposed to be good, communication with other people.

Nothing like judging a book by its cover. LOL has a higher skill ceiling than WoT and unlike WoT, players are all on a level playing field as all champions are available for players to pick once unlocked. There's no RNG crap, no OP premium content, Normals (equivalent of Random Battles) you only really play when starting out, mess about or test a new champ out but thereafter its (in my case at least) ranked all the way and (again unlike WoT) you play against players slightly above and below your own current skill unless you are unfortunate to come up against a smurf account.

Having played LoL since Season 2 I've seen my fair share of toxicity and given my own out too. LoL toxicity tends to be more focused on a players performing ability with a champ or role/position. Player stats can be looked up via websites and also mods during the game loading sequence so you can get quickly an idea of your 4 team-mates, no anonymizer crutch there for players to cower behind. In WoT most of the toxic comments I see are targeted at the nation someone is assumed to be from, an example from a game last night :
