so had a period of about 15 mins in game with 400+ping on both servers, so i assumed it had to be my end.  I turned PC and Router off and on again but still bad ping and after a couple of battles and switching servers decided to run a plot whilst i made a bit of food.

when i came back to pc everything fine again and i am looking at the plots and i cant see what i need to understand

first couple games with bad ping on left of picture then when i came back second screenshot of final plotsScreenshot (92).png

Did you play games with that ping or just saw it in garage?

Ping plotter seems ok to my limited knowledge, the 100% PL on 3rd point is a bit unexpected.

I don't think it is packetloss. I think it is a hub which is not pingable.

Packetloss shows in the bottom graph, with a RED line.

Your PL graph is all black. So it should be good.

1st graph I was playing the game

then I took a break

second graph is when I came back to the game and ping was back to normal but obviously not actively playing a battle, after this all battles the game played perfectly

100% packet loss means either it's configured not to respond or it is using a non internet addressable IP address.  I know the hops 8, 9 and 10 are using IP addresses in one of the private IP address ranges.  Occasionally you will see a trace where the ISP doesn't filter them out and they show as being in the 10.x.x.x range.

There is nothing much to see from either trace although you chopped the 1st hop off the first one but the highest ping on the trace is only in the 40's so it doesn't look like it's there.

The ping in the menu is often unreliable.  Were you actually getting a high ping in battle?

Think when logging in a big amount of data goes through to WoT server, so the ping is usually much higher than it actually is.

You could wait think 15 seconds roughly to have it retest in garage, but as Homer says only way to know is to play the game.

Hubs, hubs and hubs, a lot of them for soo many people, if 1 of them has problems or is overloaded with traffic small part of players will have bad ping.

ran the plot for 30 mins overall and sent into support so I guess we will see what they say
