Hello fellow tankers,

The last (but not the top) three tanks from the new Polish Medium branch are rolling out onto the Supertest, namely the DS PZInż (Tier V), the B.U.G.I. (a Tier VI with a name suiting any Tier X that’s groovy enough), and the CS-44 (Tier VII).

These vehicles are jacks-of-all-trades possessing good mobility (the top speed is 55 km/h for the B.U.G.I. and 57 km/h for the CS-44) and a protection level that is average for mediums. The Poles can be compared to Soviet medium tanks of the same tiers (the T-34, the T-34-85, and the T-43, respectively). They have the same design layout with the forward placement of the turret and have comparable agility and survivability.

The peculiar feature of the medium Poles is having alternate guns at some tiers. For the B.U.G.I. and the CS-44 you can choose between a 90-mm gun with parameters allowing for more convenient gunplay, and a 100-mm one that packs more punch. (In the B.U.G.I.’s case, the 100-mm gun is short-barreled and spits out extra-powerful HE and AP shells.)

Gameplay-wise, the new Polish vehicles are much like their Soviet counterparts. Yet they can boast a perk which is also pronounced in Polish heavies: high one-time damage (this is especially true for the high-caliber guns). Their good mobility is another remarkable characteristic; the newcomers can excel at both attack and defense.

CS 44 looking like the most interesting tank in the line so far, looks actually fun compared to other tier 7 300 alpha mediums (A 44 and Leo). BUGI is looking interesting, too; I'm especially keen on seeing the stats of it's 100 mm. Pretty fun that the BUGI is a straight up better version of the 40TP (much better mobility, better rate of fire, possibly more useful armor and an option to mount a 100 mm), but it's probably more to do with the fact that the 40TP is...not very good. :teethhappy:

Wish the higher tier mediums had a similar gun option with very high one-time damage like the tier 6-7 does, but oh well.

the pen seems  too high considering the dmg that they have

Id have tier 5 pen at 120

Tier 6 pen at 140

Tier 7 pen at 160

It looks quite a bit better and some of the more useful aspects of any tank are much more effective, pen/dmg, aim time and dispersion soft stats (RagingR showed those in his review), compared to A-44, Leo and the T-34-1.

Unless those three get addressed, this PL tier 7 will also power creep those. But that's just me and I'm rather oldskool (or be it logical) when balance is concerned.

What's the idea behind having a non-compatible (crew wise) Pudel as the only readily available premium crew trainer tank for the entire Polish tech tree - including these new three tanks?

Because they want you to buy the new tier 8 premium being super tested.

The Rudy is crying because you ignore his perfect compatibility. :(
