Stupid idea to limit these.

I was up for buying one. I checked yesterday and today and never saw it for sale.

I just assumed it was a bug with the store.

They were like all day yesterday. Long time nobody bought them and it hovered around 1400 left mark. Rechecking this morning and then only they were gone.

I do agree it was stupid to limit it but we know why it is. Since the more we buy the more WG has to gift to the museum. If it was not for the museum there would be no limits

That's stretching the truth as they were gone when I finished work on Friday.

I work 5 days a week early till late 12h shift, so cant always be around when sales or specials start, blackmatket was an absolute piss take on the working class, and so was the pathetic limited Tiger 131 sale that was basically spitting in Bovingtons face with the claims WG made.

Think if I was providing a sale of an item where a percentage would go to a worthy cause I would limit it? No.

So I worked 12h that day, got home late, father of three etc, time I get on there is nothing, unhappy with WoT I dont bother playing, you what I did, I went to Steam, and spent a lot of money on many games there as they have a sale on.

Sadly Wargaming have zero care or customer support, we buy it all, spend every month but get zero thought from Wargaming, they NEVER think of the older player base or provide much content or items of sale to interest us, so its another wait for Loot boxes at xmas, maybe any tanks with BIA crews.

But the game can be comfortably left for a year and not played, thats how much interest it holds for many of us. Wargaming could turn it around, but I doubt they ever will, a nice thing would be to see more content of worth going on sale that older players with it all would enjoy, equal fair chances on sales for the working class that made the game viable. Maybe having a strong look at your moral conduvt regarding Beta Pre Order players that helped you financialy get the game off, but no. Hell I havent bought Fort Knox or a tier 8 premium tank for some time as even as big a mug as I am eventually gets sick of it.

Still, Steam and a little indie games private server are very happy with all the disposable income WG would have got having went to them the last year plus.

Originally Tiger 1 was a T6 tank and Tiger 2 a T7 but at some point they made Tiger 1 a T7 and Tiger 2 a T8 which "destroyed" both of them, especially Tiger 1.

Well, same goes for King Tiger © indeed, which can perform pretty well at T7 (with stock 8.8). Not OP by any means but very nice armor at T7. Can be lethal in skilled hands. They should put the techtree ones a tier lower again, which would make them more inline with todays meta if you ask me.

UPDATE 30/06:
We were extremely happy to see such an overwhelming level of support for The Tank Museum in Bovington, over the weekend. The fundraiser bundles including the Tiger 131 sold out faster than expected. We understand that some of you missed the chance to participate and pick up your very own Tiger 131.

Therefore, we will be putting 400 additional Tiger 131 'Collectors Gem' packages up for sale on Wednesday, July 1 at 20:00 CEST (UTC+2).

The proceeds will still go directly to The Tank Museum.

A measly extra 400 back on sale at 8pm really?

How pathetic Wargaming.

How much do you want to bet that they will all be sold out before I get a chance to get one?

Also, 1 day rental with code... come on WG. 3-day premium is nice, but starting on sunday evening.... well not much use is it?

I'm starting to expect something big for 10y anniversary as all stuff lately is just dissapointing...

It is too easy for you to rig the outcome of that bet, so I won't take it! :izmena:

So weird that it's limited edition despite being for charity.

As it wasn't limited at all when released originally, very dodgy WG. It's clearly some sort of tax evasion scam.

Anyway I've had mine since the original release, it's ok but advising side scraping in the Tiger?

I'm really starting to think I need to take my annual 10 months break of this game. Starting to get extremely boring

I bought it right away because the idea of doing such charity is very good, the limited numbers not so much.
Now you release a second batch, which is limited again, this time only 400. Those are damn pixels, WG, it wouldn't have cost you a cent if you sold the tank for the whole Tankfest weekend without limiting the numbers. It's not a broken OP vehicle and it's for a good cause, isn't it?

Why only 400? I don't think a hoard of Tiger 131s could damage the MM ('cause other tanks flooded the game already), and the Tank Museum could use some extra penny through pixel tanks as well.

Just asking, because I can't understand the reason for it.

Hear Hear!

Last time when you answered our complaints about the quantity ot available Tiger 131's you wrote  "few" between double quotes.

So i was hoping you ment that as a kind of joke and ment the opposite.

Boy was I wrong. How could i think you really cared about the museum.???

The current Tiger 131 in game is not OP, so it would not ruin the game.

Normally I would not bother to buy it as i have the other tigers in my garage, but I liked the Charity Idea:  support the Bovington Tank museum and get a get me a nice looking tank in return.

Can someone from WG please answer us why it is limited again? and even worse than the first amount while it's ment for charity?

Hi everyone,
We are very pleased so many of our players have liked what we have prepared for you and have chosen to support The Tank Museum – the proceeds from this sale will go towards a great cause.

You can however still support The Tank Museum directly here (https://tanks.ly/DONATE), but we will also bring back a ‘’few’’ more Tiger 131s up for sale next week – we will share more details early next week and give you a heads up ahead of time so you have a fair chance to grab your very own Tiger 131 and support The Tank Museum.

The camouflage is still up for grabs if you’d like to pick one up.

Don’t forget to tune in for the streams :)

What a piss take, you lot should be ashamed of the level of customer service and of the limited time while trying to big yourself up as doing a service offers you provide, pathetic.

Basically another huge "insert no toss given about the player base here comment" gesture from wargaming, yet again they sell an item many want in limited numbers during work hours in the UK. Just back in, 12h on my bloody feet and it's 20.18, not eaten yet, and been told the Tiger 131 that I wanted to buy two of at last event has been on sale again. Limited numbers, oh, looks like it was just pretence with the Bovington support.

The whole thread is a whine about how bad Wargaming excecuted the first sale, and we have some no shame wargaming staff tell us its will be on sale again, talk about a brass neck, If I gave a screw the customers comment like that with that repeat sale wind up you then follow through with I would be too embarassed to bloody post. No shame?

Why pretend your supporting Bovington if your too tight to sell more than 400 units and basically do not want to commit any charitable meaningful contribution to Bovington, I doubt 400 131's will get far in a charitable contribution nor have pleased much of the player base who already stated how rubbish this threads 1st statement of sale was.

Jeez, its like someone gave Goldfish a job and only employed the ones that found customers inconvenient.

Just realized the extra sale starts tonight at 2000 CEST

That's UTC +2 hours. So that is 10pm in UK.

What a dumb time to start a sale.

Thanks for nothing yet again Wargaming.

I am at work at 0700 the next day, so I have to go to bed early to get up at 0530.

So yet again, I will miss out on getting this tank.

Talk about organizing a piss up in a brewery, NOT.
